I do remember having absolutely no time for subtlety in those days ! Siouxsie was my fave, though. She appeared at the time of the punk explosion over here and one of the reasons I didn't like her (I think) was because she seemed to me really tame in comparison. So I'm wondering what I'd think of her now, time (and me) having moved on. That's how I learned about so many of the cool stuff that is now considered "oldies". But yeah, I don't know what I would feel now if I heard say "Pissin' in a River" for example. But then, I think it was the shear brazeness of her at a time when disco was prevelent and rock kinda was just boring that just ignited my rebel soul. Awesome!
