I got involved with someone with Neptune conj. my moon in Virgo. He was very skeptical. Then when I read to him what this aspect can do in a relationship, I said I should have listend to that as that's exactly how it turned out. And I said "I will never believe in Astrology again" because everything else in our charts seemed good. And he (Mr. Virgo) said "There you go!" as in that's much more sensible. Adding to what Amy said, I think many earth signs turn out to be skeptics, because most cliff notes astrology books don't say positive things about the earth signs.  I once read in the back of a magazine that capricorns were word-for-word "boring"and that virgos were "fussy nags" and that tauruses were "stubborn bores."  Most earth sign folks I know are anything but boring, fussy or stubborn! I think Aquarius and Virgo. This doesn't surprise me, and not because I think Tauruses are skeptical. I'm a Taurus and here I am. When I first started learning about astrology I found that many astrological writers focused on all the negatives of Taurus and didn't seem to have anything positive to say about them at all. That was my experience reading them, at least - that there was a lot of negative opinion about Taurus and these people seemed to just be really down on that sign. I didn't let it discourage me, because I know that every sign, every planet, everything in life has its good side and its bad side. And of course I moved on and found other astrological writers who were much more reliable and had more to say than just talking about the negatives. I'm speaking of experience, not hating on anybody!!!! I love all faiths & people. I think it all depends on how you were raised too, in an open-minded background or more tendency of closed-minded. I noticed that sometimes they were sold out of Aquarius but there were always plenty of Virgo and Scorpio. I've noticed this again and again when looking at items sold for individual signs (books, greeting cards, etc.). So that always made me think that Aquarians are the believers and Virgos and Scorpios were the non-believers. Someone who's an earth Sun can have loads of fire or water in their chart and hardly any earth, making them more open to the idea of astrology. My husband thinks astrology, ghosts, and other "new agey" stuff is hoo-hah, but then again, he has 4 earth planets.  He's a Cap Sun.
