It concerns tainted flu vaccines. I have not had the vaccine and will not get it. I made that decision when the whole pandemic reporting first started. I also believe that this strain of flu was manufactured and released. My country just started vaccination the risk groups. The lines are hours long. These people are all supposed to be the risk group people. I'm suprised how people who are ill want to stand in a line for hours and have such a strong need to live! Some even threaten the nurses! I don't think that I have this huge need to live to old age. But then again I just lived thru Tr. saturn con pluto and uranus. maybe my hope for future just died. When your number is up, i'ts up. Whether it's the flu or some crazed idiot on the highway. Lots of people's lives get ruined over innocently getting in the car and going somewhere. It hasn't failed me yet. Intuition: don't leave home without it. As to add further insult to injury: if you are around anyone who has had the shot or nasal innoculation,  you can get the flu even if they didn't come down with it. It's called viral shedding. Lots of stories of parents coming down with polio after changing a kids diapers that just had the vaccination. Same thing.  So, you can go to grocery store healthy and come back exposed to the flu. Update: We got up at the crack of dawn on Halloween to go to the free Chicago clinic (with 1000 others), and I got him his shot.  It feels a little bit like it may have been a tempest in a teapot, but with his underlying health issue I sure do feel relieved that we got this taken care of.  Now to see what next year brings....
