wow. the only member of mensa I know is one of my siblings, and she is as religious as all get out.

I'm just proud that I'm smart enough to know what "Mensa" means.  I can read/write, pat my tummy and rub my head, and breathe, all at the same time.  I'm super glad there are people way smarter than me; it makes the world seem less scary.

but yeah, I'm also glad teh smarts people tend to recognize the validity of something I value, something which is often scoffed at. 

what is the control? Can we compare those figures to statistics on the general population?

I always remember to breathe in; sometimes I forget to breathe out!  :D

My hubby is a member of MENSA and is always asking me 'What's goin' on in the sky right now cos it's crazy out there?' He loves the full moon and is always susceptible when Mercury goes Rx. He sees these patterns and loves reading about the Sun signs and pointing out the things that fit now or used to in the past. He does not read daily horoscopes but listens when there is a significant 'Transit Watch'. Having said that he is always losing his keys and can't remember anybody's name!!
