I dunno' - this past week has been relatively uneventful for me so far.  Took a mini-vacation to visit family in another city this week.  And yes I did catch up with an old friend of mine.  But, really not much is going on - not at work, with friends, nada.

I remembered that Elsa had blogged about the period from August 21st to September 14th when there would be 5 planets Rx...

    http://www.elsaelsa.com/astrology/2010/04/05/5-planets-retrograde-from-august-21-sept-14-2010/

I'm feeling kinda' slow about everything - What about you?  How is this 5 planet Rx period going for you?

I am definitely a circus dog on a pedaling backwards on a bicycle. :)

It's going okay though.  It's going well actually, in a back to the future sort of way.

I've got 3 planets retrograde in my Natal chart anyway... so home.sweet.home!  I've had a couple of spur of the moment opportunities that have been like sweet icing on the cake.

Going well, so far.  I switched up the crystals I carry and it's helped A LOT, I feel lighter and less pensive.  I hope it stays.  :)

I am very literally going back in time and ordering stuff. Like the people who put a water heater in without a permit. Getting the permit, getting the inspection 4 months after the fact.

Going back over all those emails sent during my Pluto transit, 2007ish, getting things straightened out. Going back over the emotions when necessary.

Reestablishing contact with people if I find them willing.  Putting it to bed for good if not.

I even have to go back to the paint store for a small amount of paint from the hallway 2 years ago, when I painted during Dora's vomiting because the thermostat was moved with the new furnace.  It's laughable how textbook.

I am even going back 2 years to note the comeuppance and longer than that to recall the injury, to see if there is anything else there to know.

I am going back through the list of people who do not link back to the Dispatch and again asking them to reciprocate... I could go on and on.

I have to go back and write my cousin too, we sort of dropped off.  My mother never answered that question I sent her so I will go back and try to get the answer through her childhood friend / my second cousin and if that doesn't work... shrug.

This is not fun exactly but it is not bad either and for the most part the people I have been dealing with have been very nice and accommodating. This makes it easy to sort. If they are not nice, I go away and know not to bother them again.

It really feels like another or a next chance to get things right before we really go to the future (in a speed boat).

I guess it's too late for me to take back that FB friend request to my friend's ex - who's now living in Europe...she googled him and saw a photo of him with a baby on his stomach and well then I offered to see what I could find out...what was I thinking? undo undo!

    It's amazing.

I wish I could write about it.

But last weekend I DANCED LIKE A FUCKING FIEND....yeah, all caps, baby, ha ha ha....and marveled at how 10 years ago I needed party drugs. Now I'm just high on life. It's a trip.

I'm getting into work mode. I want to work work work work work work work and it's just as well because life demands it of me at the moment.

Excited about starting with a new therapist. Excited about the person (people?) who are amputating me. Excited about starting 4th year studios. Excited about everything. The dread is gone. Bring it!

@elsa, sound like your really tying up the loose ends sounds great and how freeing to not have any of those things rattling away in the subconscious tiring you out any more. EXCELLENT!

@chantelle777 may I suggest you are simply trying to find the you that was left behind somewhere back there thanks to life getting in the way, not that knowledgeable with the astrology yet, but would suggest the neptunian influence of this moon would be a great opportunity to relflect and recall who you once were and who you aspired or dreamed you'd become one day? just a suggestion

Going back in time thru journalling, finally have time and head-space to work out the emotions beyond the last few years survival-driven times.  Very slow, laborious and not very pleasant process, but feels good to get it out of myself onto the page.  My biographers are going to have a -ton- of material to wade thru.

given the miscommunication thing of retorgrade, would be it be the worse time to try and get some clarity about some drama I ahve that is ongoing with a woman at my dance group, or wold others advise a break and leave well alone( I wonder because I was thinking of taking a break from the group)

@jamie, I find merc rx the best time to go over any communications or commitments I have made since the last rx so both of those suggestions are good, can you not do both?

You know, the past couple days I've felt a longing for the WW2 era. I mean a real longing. There's actually a smell that goes along with all that wartime equipment, metal, cordite, kevlar. I want to go back there for some reason. I started out missing my grandmother, and then I was having all these drifty childhood memories and thinking about how long life is, and suddenly I wanted to go back to the war.  I was actually in a couple of wars, but not that one. Since we were stationed overseas though, a lot of what's around you is from that era if you're there. But I wasn't alive during the war so that's just a crazy thing to want and be longing for, completely twisted to want to go back and smell a tank from *any* war.

It's *really* weird.  I just spent fifty dollars at amazon and bought the whole Band of Brothers set. I want my son to watch it with me. I just suddenly...really wanted something that was there.

Also: space. You know? The planets. I want to relive that sense of possibility, discovery beyond our own spinny, fenced up little lives. I almost started crying about that one day.

Also I've been rewatching the whole James Burke Connections series. There are four series from 1978 - 1997. It's like the world has stopped the past twelve years. No adventure, no possibility, no hope or ability to stretch beyond yourself. No one wants to know anything, it's as if there is nothing left to know.  Like a whole trajectory of thought and spirit and emotional extension blew up on September 11, 2001.

I'm in a tough place right now, and given the planetary set-up it's hard to know what's due to fouled up communications, and what's due to my having to learn a painful lesson from the past over again.

Given this can't for logistical reasons be discussed in person and I won't do it on the phone, I'm trying to decide whether to risk email which might create a bad situation - if one doesn't already exist, and I think it does - or make a dicey one much worse. Bottom line is, whilst I'm endlessly tolerant since I understand the extreme indications for absolute freedom in the other party's chart, there is a limit to being given the run-around, and I've been there before...I also know, that this is not a moment to be rattling cages, and not just in astrological terms

I think the new moon falls in either my third house - of communications - or my 4th, family and home... Can this refer to someone else's home, eg the SO's? I'm very inexperienced in placing transits and obviously I can't be certain either, even whether my chart is correct as I'm not sure what my birth time/rising is. After re-reading over and over what all the variables throw up, my current pick is Cancer, which (approx) gives:

    http://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?btyp=w2at&rs=3

Here's an alternative chart if I have Scorpio rising, which is the next most likely I've narrowed it to: http://www.astro.com/cgi/chart.cgi?btyp=w2at;rs=3&nhor=2&nho2=2

Can anyone offer any advice on the dangers of taking the bull by the horns - or rather putting my head into the lion's jaws or pulling his tail - at this point? (and no I can't have a reading much as I'd like to: I'm currently potless, esp after paying my Road Tax today!)

     :). Hey -- thanks Orlando.

That's a clip from BoB #7, Lieutenant Spiers tearing up the field outside Foy with Easy Company.

"...but that wasn't the really astounding thing. The astounding thing was,  that after he hooked up with I Company, he came back."
