Just wondering, does a Cancer's moon sign (probably more so than the other Sun signs) have a greater effect on how they are in the world?  Ya know, since they're ruled by the moon?  I was thinking about it because a very close male friend of mine is a Cancer Sun/Mercury/Venus (Sun conjunct Mercury in the 4th house) with a Sagittarius moon and he is one of the most umm... Fun but loving people I have ever met.  It's funny too because he's Aries Rising (Mars in Leo 5th house) so that put Cancer on his 4th house cusp and he has all those Cancer ruled planets all in the 4th house.  Super Cancer, I guess you could say.  With a touch of a fire Jupiter flavor, right?

My Cancer sister has moon in Aquarius and she's very detached. She doesn't seem like a Cancer at all! Maybe you're right about a Cancer's moon sign being important.

Yes the Moon is enhanced and even more so for Cancer rising because the Moon rules the chart.

Toni, interesting.  I thought I might be onto something... But I wanted more of other people's experiences.  My mom is a Cancer with a Libra Moon/Libra rising.  I can't really see the Libra in her though.
