I am in love with a Virgo man who has Cancer Rising and Moon. His Mars, Venus

beginning student of astrology so am needing some input. Our compatibility was great on paper (for romance) but he just wants to be friends. Can you see why maybe by looking at our planets? I am a Virgo with Cancer Rising and an Aries Moon. The man I'm involved with is a Scorpio with a Scorpio Rising and Cancer Moon. So we have a similar combo going on. From what I have read, Virgos, especially the Virgo males are very reluctant lovers - very shy and skiddish. I am not! Perhaps you are much more eager to get things going? (being the Scorpio?)

From what I've read (still lots to learn about astrology), you need to look at your Venus and Mars). As for Virgo men, I've only known older men, like my grandfather and other relatives. They are very practical (as the descritiption says). Try wooing him with a home cooked meal or being useful to him in some way. Seducing him might not work to win his heart--though this works with Scorpios, I think. Demonstrate to the Virgo that you can be a good, sensible life partner.

With my situation, my Scorpio man was definitely hot on my tail, then once he got me, he became hot and cold. I'm not sure why. Perhaps he was testing me? Perhaps he did not trust me? I did cheat on him once early on (after the first three weeks) but only because he LIED and claimed he was married when he actually was not. So I did this out of revenge and regretted it afterwards--the only time in my life I've ever technically cheated--even though we had not even made a commitment yet. I have since been reading about the Scorpio jealous streak and their vindictiveness. I constantly feel as if he is punishing me with his inconsitency and unpredictibility.

Maybe someone has more ideas for both of us.

Hi VespaChick! Well i have never dated a Scorpio believe it or not! But it sounds to me like he is testing you....we always have an alterior motive and don't just do or ask things for the hell of it or out of mere curiosity of what might happen. For instance, if I ask my guy what's his favorite ice cream, it's not because I just want to know what to buy at the store (but of course my Virgo moon wants to know for that reason!...lol), but I feel it gives me a clue to his inner nature. Does he like comfort foods, or is he kind of sensual and likes really chocolaty rich ice cream with whipped cream and things like that....it's pretty telling when you pay attention!....lol But the hot and cold thing, yeah we get like that. We are water signs. One day I am all bubbly and joking around the next you'd think my puppy died (but my highest planet in my chart are the moon and Uranus so it figures!..lol). It just depends onwhat is going on in my life and what is on my mind. So it might not even be you. It might be he had a bad dream that reminded him of trouble he is having in other areas in his life and he needs to brood awhile. So let him and don't worry! As far as the north node thing, I have no idea yet what that means. Maybe someone can explain? But I will go to astro.com and check it out and bring back what I find and see if you can tell me somthing!

Ok I just think I found the information. Is your true node the North node? if so mine is in Scorpio in the first house and my Lilith is in Pisces in my fourth house. His north or true node is in his 6th house in Sagitarius and his Lilith is in the same. So in our charts, both his north and lilith are in my second house. And my North node is in his 12th house and my lilith is in his 4th house. What does all this mean VespaChick?

Anyone else with any answers for VespaChick and I?

oh and yes you hit it right on the head with the Venus and Mars thing...but he is so smoking hot!!! At least to me...as practical and held back as he is. I think my Venus in Cappy can wait forever for him to come around but I will do as you suggest and try to appeal to the helpful partner routine. I have done this a few times. Once I made his bed and he said "You made the whole bed...scary!!"...lol

Good to know that his "hot & coldness" are likely the Scorpio testing rather than him getting tired of me. He actually does have onset diabetes and is ignoring it! Even though he looks healthy and is very fit (and HOT like your guy) he is sick sadly and doesn't feel well much of the time. He's not so knowledgeable about the illness but (being Virgo as I am) I know his symptoms and am very worried. He has only gone to the doctor once across the border (He is originally from Mexico) but I'm trying to get him to go to a good doctor here and get regular treatment. But I think his illness may explain much of his moodiness. He has also dropped about 20lbs in the last 2 months that he did not have to lose! So he is not making anything up. He also says he worries I'll leave him when he really gets ill...? I told him I loved him MORE knowing he needs me! Am I a Virgo or what?

Glad you made your Virgo man's bed! That's a good start! Now clean the whole house! Get crackin'! :-) I was dating one guy who lived in a sty and I scoured the place from stem to stern--he did not recognize it! It kind of grossed me out actually! I knew it wouldn't last long but while it did, I had to make things bearable for myself!

When your Virgo said, "WOW, you made the whole bed...scary!" That was probably his way of saying..."Things could get serious!" or "Are you trying to seduce me?" I bet you he was thinking that!" Keep asking him, "What do you need me to do?" Or bake him something. Or maybe you notice he needs something done and you can do it for him.

If you're not dating, what kind of relationship do you have? I had a really quirky relationship with a sexually repressed Taurus guy for about 7 years! (I was out of the country/in the Peace Corps for much of it, otherwise I really would have gone nuts) I finally let him go and found out later he WAS gay afterall! Argh! We would go to concerts together, even travelled together. He vistited me when I lived in Galway, Ireland! But we never did anything more than hold hands. It was incredibly frustrating and I wasting SO MUCH of my youth with him (ages 25-32)! I did have relationships with other men during that time but thought I would marry Patrick. Sigh! I really thought eventually he would come around, but he never did.

Just re-reading what you wrote above. My Scorpio and I are VERY different in so many ways. His food tastes are very simple. I would say he likes more comfort foods. He eats the same food from taco shops almost every night. I even criticized him about it in a long letter I wrote to him, complaining about other things as well. (Virgos can be critical). I have much more "reined" tastes. The point of my letter was actually about other issues--mainly how he was treating me. The hot & cold issue.

Raul immigrated here as a child from Mexico and only has his GED (not even a High School diploma) whereas I have a Masters's degree and two bachelors degrees. For the last 10-15 years, I've always dated men with at least a Masters degree or more, so it has been a bit of a change, though we do have a very strong connection that is not just physical.

We know each other through the pool/sauna/jacuzzi at our gym. He goes almost religiously every night. Wondering if because he is a water sign that he likes the water? He almost "makes" me go there to see him there, though he also tells me to meet him at his place. He says I'm welcome to show up any time--and he's always home and glad to see me (well, when we are not fighting.) Very predictible. He is terrible about arranging dates, and he rarely calls me. This bothers me a great deal. We do go out to dinner. But mainly we meet at the gym and go from there. He obviously dictates how things are going.

Did I mention the sex is fantastic?
