"Aha" astrological understanding moments...what's yours ?
posted 4 months ago in General
cool question!
I've had a couple, and they were pretty basic, so I was sheepishly happy when I had them:)
The day I figured out Fixed, Cardinal, and Mutuable working with each other in Crosses was a big one.
Pisces-Gemini? Highly possible squared signs. TA-DA! Man did I feel brilliant that day.
Still waiting for my moments of enlightenment...Im pretty new to the game. Rather, Im new in that I really want to understand it.
Back when I was 12, my mom (somewhat offhandedly) gave me "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need" by Joanne Martine Woolfolk. I took to it like a kid in a candy store, although most was about finding out when my crushes birthdays were to see if we were compatible...and thus the infatuations begun! Fourteen years later, I still have the book (perhaps not the ONLY one I'll ever need, but I digress). Its ripping at the seams, but still kicking. Staring at me right now, in fact. At this point, I would like to learn how to draw up somedody's chart and of course, to understand synastry better and the nature of the planets/houses.
Lola :)

I really understood synastry between 2 persons when an astrologer explained that it's like having a transit of all the planets from one chart to the other...(example :if jupiter is conjunct the sun in the synastry the both are "happy" to be together, if mercury is conjunct mars than lots of talks, ect...) the energy of the person is like the energy of a transit and plays out in both persons. It's simple and so true, but you had to find it no ?
What are your "aha" moments of understanding ?
