Thanks - well I thought her chart would be different (don't ask me different how, I don't know, lol).
She just gives me the heebie-jeebies - pretty soon now they will finally announce the verdict. Can't imagine it not being guilty.
I think those charts are of the event.
It's been a long time since I kept up with this case but at one point a long time ago it seemed to me that a lot of the evidence was circumstantial and she was kind of being railroaded.
That was a while ago though.
On reading about this today (my first real exposure), my first instinct was that she probably did not do it. But I have been very wrong before! I hope this was not an injustice.
I am surprised I guess that others here think she is not guilty - of course I don't have a crystal ball, and cannot know for sure, but I watched more than one in-depth news-show about this, and my gut just told me that she is guilty. And the boyfriend too.
I guess what always got me about the both of them was the constant smirks on their faces, like this was all a joke, and they were too clever to get caught. That girl died horribly - I hope her family can have some peace from the verdict. I do of course hope they are in fact guilty - I would never want anyone to serve time for something they didn't do.
There was a very fishy opinion piece in the NY Times about Knox a few months ago. The headline was "An Innocent, Abroad," and was placed prominently above a picture of an angelic looking Knox. The whole article smacked of public relations, and I found it extremely offensive. The article suggested that the Italian prosecutors were corrupt and that Knox wasn't getting a fair trial. It downplayed the DNA evidence linking Knox to the murder and the fact that Knox initially blamed an African man for the murders. The article drew a lot of comments on the NYT website. It left a bad taste in my mouth. How much money does it take to create a public relations campaign for your daughter who is accused of murder? How many of us reading these puff pieces believe them?
I saw this on the news last night and watched the reel of the verdict being read and it was so surreal. As Dorothy mentioned, the girl had a very cool look about her, detached. this was the first I had heard anything about it and was surprised from the broadcast of their being no physical evidence found to tie her, just circumstantial evidence. But the african american male is in custody and was indicted also.
An African man has also been convicted along with Knox and her boyfriend. The African (Congolese) man that Knox initially implicated was jailed, but then found to be innocent and released.
I hope, with all my Cap and Saturn in the 4th, I'm never on trial and convicted because of how I seem.
i haven't followed the case close enough to know everything about the evidence but my feeling is they were involved in meredith's death...first, amanda knox has done some really strange things - implicating the bar owner, then saying she heard meredith scream from her room,..i know police can be coercive but still i think the scream comment held a bit of truth. otherwise why would she say something so specific? then there was the knife. i don't know how strong the evidence is against any single one of them but, altogether it seems likely they were there and were involved in what happened. plus no plausible alternative story has been put forth! anyway, just my two cents.
Jilly I curious about your comment re: Saturn in the 4th. What does that have to do with being convicted?
Just a comment about how she appears guilty because she appears cool, unemotional, etc. which I can certainly plug into if I want.
this is the day she was born...
sorry I cannot post the immage directly
I'm not a good chart reader...but I'm guessing the pluto trine and the jupiter trine might have gave her that confidence and the look of "I can gat awy with murder"...
but her personal planets opposing neptune and uranus set her to the risck of what peple see of her
mars is sure not well set
do you have any interpretation?
The first thing that caught my attention too in Amanda Knox's chart is Neptune. Oppositions to Venus and Mercury speak about major projection issues, which can go both ways. The World won't see her for what she is, but then again, she probably wouldn't have a clear view of that herself either. Also, we don't know her exact time of birth, and if she was born in the evening, it's quite possible the Moon is actually conjunct to Neptune too.
It would be interesting to see the chart of Raffaele Sollecito too. from the reports I read from Italian papers, it seems that while Amanda actually broke down in her cell after the sentance, Raffaele is still in a complete denial. In the Italian media at least there has been a lot of discussion about the dynamics between the couple. I'd be surprised if there wasn't some synastry between his chart and Amanda's Neptune.
An article that talks about the forensic evidence :
http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/dec/06/amanda-knox-meredith-kercher-trial-perugia
From the article:
"The defence maintained that the traces of DNA linking Kercher to the supposed murder weapon were inconclusive. The British student's bra clip, which bore a trace of Sollecito's DNA, was not bagged by police until 45 days after the initial forensic inspection. And no evidence of any kind was produced to show Knox had been in the room where Kercher's half-naked body was found.
The room did, however, contain an all-important clue – one which was not there. In Kercher's bedroom there was not a single fingerprint belonging to either Knox or her boyfriend. Could they have wiped them away? Impossible, said Sollecito's lawyer, Giulia Bongiorno, in her summing-up.
Had they done so, they would have removed Guede's too. Yet "that room was awash with Rudy's prints", she told the court. Quoting the head of Italy's forensic experts, Bongiorno added that "only a dragonfly" could enter a room without leaving a trace. And, she added, 'since they are certainly not dragonflies, it means these two young people are innocent.' "
I also read somewhere that Knox and Sollectio only knew each other for a couple of weeks before the murder, but I can't remember where.
Kash, I think most of the stories out there are slanted to which ever way the media behind it feels about the case. I watched at least two (maybe three, cant remember) in-depth news stories about this that left me feeling she is guilty. I do not have a crystal ball, so I won't swear to it.
I did feel she often gave an aura of smugness during the trial - which is different to me than not showing emotion. No emotion is different that appearing to be smirking. Should she be convicted on that? Of course not - but this was one long trial, and they did come to a guilty conclusion.
I do think her attorney was pretty piss poor at giving her advice regarding making herself sympathetic - if there was ever a time to make people be sympathetic to you, a murder trial would be it.
I can only say I hope justice was served - they are appealing, so I guess it is not over yet.

Just wondering if anyone knows any of the astrology around this girl?
Her verdict is supposedly finally coming down today - I am pretty sure she is guilty. She just all around gives me the creeps. And her parents seem totally delusional as far as their insistence in her innocence.
