i am ditching my life for almost 48 hours, headed down to fort providence (3-hour road trip on a land with no roads!), the seat of connection north/south, for the break-up.

Sunday will have me managing facilities and horses for a group that teaches/practices metaphysical animal healing and wellness. The horses quite enjoy them. And I think they are sweet, too. :)

I wonder if they are aware of the eclipse...I would think so, but shall ask just in case.

Working a double shift.

I will spend today at a book fair downtown. 

Tomorrow Sunday I hope/wish to escape to the northern suburbs as close as possible to water. [This one depends on what money is left. ETA: Also depends on the weather as we're back to sunless and rain the last few days.]

Things ARE intense and I hope the aftermath is for the best.

I am squaring my shoulders, biting my back teeth, pacing and chewing on the skin next to my thumbnail because the next thing I have to do today is put a check in the mail to the IRS for a fucking insane amount of money. The next thing I have to *make myself do * is that.

I am *very* upset about it.

I was upset while I was writing the check.I was upset while the envelope sat in my day planner for two weeks. I was *even more* upset when I realized I was outside my month's extension and I now owe them even more money.

I so do not want to pay this bill. I am not going to feel better after I do it. I couldn't sleep last night. I am going to mope for days.

....aaaaaaaand I was correct. That sucked.

eva...someday, someday in our lifetime, we will have the opportunity to meet IRL...

I will stand you a drink and we will set an eggtimer and for that amount of time we will indulge each other in hurling the various and sundry invectives and acrimony about that very topic.  We will likely need to invent some brand new skinblistering vocabulary to truly do the topic any justice.
