Hey guys, I use photobucket, it's free, mildly a pain in the ass (it inserts extra code and two images that I have to edit before posting), but eventually I can post a photo...check it out if you need an alternate route to help photo posting.

Here's a few paintings I did a couple years ago...

    Alicia,

    So beautiful!

Yeah, thats what folks told me to use, photobucket, but its a pain in the butt to resize them and my computer keeps crashing!

    Alicia,

did i mention, really  beautiful.  Is that oil or acrylic?

I'm not a GOOD artist, but I've drawn a few things.

My impression of a guy named "Uberfuhrer" when asked to draw him based on his Internet persona.

My impression of the typical message board administrator.

    Well, that was it...

k - what are your privacy settings for picasa?

dena-- make sure you have an image description as well as a url.

I don't know if this helps, but I usually go to www.imgur.com and then upload a picture from my computer. Then, once it uploads, I copy the url from the left side of the screen and paste it in here using the image link (the one that looks like a tree). I then choose Align Left. That usually works for me...

Yep you have to upload the image to the internet and then when you do your message here, click on the blue and yellow icon of a tree in the menu posting window, above where you are typing your message.

After you click on the tree icon a window will pop up and in the space for "Image URL" you paste or type in the URL of the picture that you uploaded (to flicker or imgur or picasa or wherever).

The URL should be of the picture itself - it should end in something like jpg or gif  not html because you are linking to the picture itself.

You can make sure by right-clicking on the image and going to "view image" & that will typically take you directly to the image.

A vest I designed and knit from wool yarn I spun myself. One of the challenges is creating a garment that both suits the person and FITS!!! Lots of muttering, sampling and calculating first.

The first one is an oil I did a couple of years ago, the others are brush paintings I did while living in Taiwan 10 years ago.  I finally got around to having some of them framed just a couple of weeks ago!

Neth, gorgeous vest.  What a beautiful color....you can see I'm fond of the blue-greens!

Jilly - intense photo of your neighborhood...powerful and haunting.

Alicia - Do you know Milton Avery? A favorite artist - reminded me.

Athenian200 -  Love the abstractions and colors.

Alphaxys -  Great line and expressive!

Denamaria, Kash....haven't opened yet.  Waiting for those!!

Sorry if I missed anyone up there!!
