I am aware that some people absolutely spend their lives making trouble for others.  Do you know anyone like this?

What do you think drives this behavior?

I  think they do it for attention.  I know a few people like this and that seems to be the motivation.

I don't think I am.

I'm not fond of people who do it deliberately and concur with the attention seeking behavior

Am I causing someone a problem right now?

Gee, I sure hope not! 

As to what I would say drives this behavior, take your pick:  Insecurity, jealousy, immaturity, or just genuinely being an asshole at your core.

I am very good at causing trouble for those I have set my sights on.............I live to bury the people that deserve it.......I will hit someone from so many directions that they crumble and submit from all the abuse I rain down on them..........

Not that I know of.

Taurus was like this at times.

Attention, mainly, and boredom.  Someone didn't pay enough attention to them when they were young, and they want to make sure everyone else has eyes on them 24/7.  Very immature and petty.

I used to go looking for trouble...Sun conjunct Mars after all...but I did that junk when I was a kid.  There's no excuse for doing that as an adult.

Maybe it makes them feel special. difficult = special =ego . I don't know. Like when people will not compromise no matter what on the petty things.  Value themselves after what they can dictate to others.

I think there are some people who gain their entire sense of self through their interactions with others -- like they don't have an inner reserve or sense of who they are. I think these people tend to cause others lots of problems since they make the other person responsible for providing them with fuel for their egos. It is exhausting.

Shhhh.... I have plausible deny-ability.

You know, thinking about this some more...Leo Sun conjunct Leo Mars is still fully functional.    Yeah, I cause trouble.    But it's rare and reserved for jerks who've funked with me or my family.  I will go to great lengths to make sure asswipes pay the piper.

This is a vigilante/justice thing, not that boo hoo no one's paying attention to me so I'll cause some drama and heartache junk.  That's not my bag.  Gross.

Such as what? A small-scale problem, like never picking up after yourself? Or a large-scale problem, like throwing tantrums because you're not getting your way and don't know how to compromise?

I guess in either case, self-centered and selfishness is the drive. But who would actually believe that THEY cause problems for others? Aren't most selfish people blind to their own foibles?

Wow, I've heard quite a few stories recently about women in particular, who are making problems for their ex's, etc.   I'm talking petty crap...or worse, things like making plays for other men who are taken, etc.  Lots of boundary violations, etc.  One shrouds herself in new agey crap, but her personal behavior puts a lie to all that, and it drives me insane. 

If I'm making problems for anyone right now, it may be because I'm not as available to them as they'd like...but my heart is in the right place... so I'm not sure..

Me ? Never. And I mean -- NEVER. Twelfth house Sun with a Libra moon... not likely, because I consciously go out of my way to make certain that I don't.

As for troublemakers, they're attention-whores. If they're in my proximity, I'll distance myself in any way I can.

What I've noticed about shit-stirrers is that it's misdirection: they cause drama outside so they don't have to deal with their inside drama.  Emotional immaturity.  *nodnodnod*

SaDiablo, wow, your 2nd paragraph hit my brain in the exact right spot. So insightful. Totally explains a few people I knew and a few I've got on the periphery. Your insightful comment actually makes it easier for me to cope with them now. I think. Need.to.write.that.down!
