Are you the type to speak up in the face of adversity? The Astrology
posted 8 months ago in Lounge
Hi Annalisa! I've always been a little slower than you were & I'd probably prefer it if someone else came out & took the heat BUT, if everyone is pussyfooting around, yes! I speak up. Pisces sees all angles, Cap knows right from wrong straight up & it's my Aries Moon that just says "Oh crap... THIS is how it is... come ON!!!!"
I will speak up right from the get go of there's an issue of unfairness though. I can't stand things that are unjust!
McKenna, I know what you mean about the fiery moon! I also have Venus in Aries so I'm liable to say something, or WAS liable to say something but I've had a period of holding my tongue.
After battling this disease I am more likely to say something now and I never cared what others thought because when you are an entertainer you can't care what other's think and perform!
Annalisa, I think when you go through an illness as severe as yours, it gives you a HUGE reality check & your perspective can change... you get your priorities straight, that's for sure (& you don't need me to tell you that! ;) So, I guess holding your tongue becomes less restricted because of this & man! Sag ALWAYS has something to say & yes, Aries is never backward in coming forward =)
I seem doomed to speak up, and have others call me 'argumentative', as this is a consistent theme through my life.
Sun and Mercury in Leo. Mercury trines Jupiter in Aries, Jupiter/Aries opp. my 2nd house Libra moon. I have 1st house Uranus/Pluto conj. my ascendant, with Mars @29 d. house 1 -- all in Virgo. Can you say 'Bi-otch' ? I can verbally eviscerate someone, and provide grounds for it. My kids think I should have been a lawyer, but I am usually muzzled and silenced, lest I upset others, or get arrested. Thank you for posting this question !
I loathe unfairness and injustice, so I tend always to speak out - sometimes to my severe cost!
Uranus in Gem on the MC (opp Pallas) makes me quite outspoken I think, and Merc exactly conjunct in Cap is both responsible and supportive / nurturing.
Im like McKenna, if everyone is just stading around ill take charge if no one else jumps too it...
I think 6h sun/mars in gem opp 12h jupiter/uranus in sag thinks too much about the options available or lays back hoping for the best..
But then 1h cap moon kicks in to get everyone (including myself) to safer grounds...
ETA: Im learning how not to always go with the flow and create my own waves... I've thought about and analyized issues that upset me for so long Im ready to exercise them!
I do speak up, only when I know if I am right. I am very dry and blunt. I guess it has to do with my very Saturn and Sag signs. I try to make sure I am very fair and neutral in what I say. I don't know if I actually come across this way, but I do try. Libra.
But I would also like to add that, if there is a crisis, I am your woman! I am calm and think really clearly, plus if a person is suffering I will always try to boost them up and rescue them.
My mercury in Sadge is at my Cappy moon and Sadge sun midpoint plus it is conj my MC.
Heck yeah not only do I have hoof in mouth disease I broadcast it no less. hahahahaha
And yes I have tempered it with age/maturity I do have chiron in Aqua in 11th oppos my 5th house uranus, I am use to people thinking I';m a little different. But life can be fun when you find others from the land of misfit toys.
Really Annalisa. I think thats great you can relate, I tend to forget that we might have very simular planet placements. Its funny, the ordeal I've gone through this summer; instead people comforting me, I was comforting them. I'm a rock. Saturn Ruling chart.
Yes I do, but I'm less aggressive because that can scare people off and thus doesn't solve a thing.
I think this kind of passion for the right thing is awesome in a person and I wish more people had it. But it's better if we choose our battles like you said.
Astrology is Moon in Aries!
Absolutely! Venus/PF/Mercury in Sag, with hard aspects all over the place. The only trines are to Eris and my MC in Leo. Don't get me started.

I used to speak up so quickly that it was blinding in the face of what I felt was adversity. I had such an idea of "the right thing." I now speak up less and less and choose my battles carefuly. The astrology is that my Moon/Jupiter in Sag and my Cappy has matured and I realize I should look at an issue from more sides before I start spouting off. I must confess I miss the person I was that spoke up so quickly because I was so idealistic!
Are you one to speak up in the face of adversity? What drives you to do so? What is the astrology behind your behavior with regard to this?
