Astrologer, Dr. Gonzo Pena Predicts the end of the world
posted 2 years ago in General
Toni. where does it say I believe this?
Gonzo is an outspoken astrologer, he has been for years. He uses methods I am not familiar with so I have no way to check his work.
As I said, he has made some very accurate predictions. He also told a fellow astrologer the date she would die (unsolicited info) - upset her greatly and she had missed her due date.
Do I think the world is going to end? No.
Do I think we could wind up living in a dark age? Absolutely.
In whatever case, he mentions an asteroid 7 months out. We'll see...
Elsa, I have heard the word "transformation" bandied about lately to describe the alleged coming end of the world. That the "Second Coming of Jesus" will come from within and not from without. The awareness of the principles of the Christ in the heart of humanity, in the heart of the individual will lead the transformation into the future of mankind.
I myself have believed this to be the case since I first started studying astrology; I see no reason for the destruction of humanity and our Earth to correct - or dissolve - the few Souls who abuse the principles of spiritual living. Most of us here on earth have no desire for war, for greed or for murder. Most of us here, if not the 75% who are asleep, care deeply about our home and about our fellow man. Yes, there may be a polar shift, but I don't believe it will destroy the human race. It may relocate many of us, though...a new beginning.
Elsa, sorry, I worded it wrong. I was in a rush.
What I meant is "Do you believe this"? Not, "Do you actually believe this"?
Ha ha, Toni, you are an Aries and always in a rush! No problem.
I just run across stuff like this from time to time and put it up here to introduce people... to these (astrology) people.
Gonzo has 2 PhDs. He has always been interested in death and some years ago his (teenage) daughter was brutally murdered by her boyfriend. I am pretty sure the guy also murdered his son the same same, it was a horrible story.
Like I said, I used to read Gonzo (and write) on festival, 15 years ago. I was aware of his family tragedy about 4 or 5 years ago and then saw him pop up today and I dunno.
He definitely was talking about this aspect 15 years ago so this is what caught my eye:
"Now that I know a lot more astrology than I knew back then, the more certain I am about this..."
Is the guy crazy? Damned if I know. But he's a name and a character in astrology circles, that's for sure and now you've heard of him.
If I'm made of brittle stuff, this guy would definitely give me the creeps. He just mentioned my birthday next year and he's been into predictive astrology at about the same time that I had been walking on this earth.
And the Age of Leo? Birth and realignment? So what about the Age of Aquarius? Of Pisces?
If I were Dr. Gonzo, I will bring my prediction a notch higher that it currently is - as a prediction of doom. I would flex an extra muscle of astrological genius to figure out how to "jump" onto the other side.
I think the end of the world as we know it will come to an end at some point. So why don't we look into our current worldly attachments? I think that in all probabilities (including the nuclear war, tectonic shifting, solar flares, orbital shifts, or just pure human madness or stupidity), the PHYSICAL universe/current solar sytem/mother earth and the single moon that orbits around it won't be annihilated anytime soon. What will definitely end is our HUMAN PERCEPTION of what the world truly is as it relates to our humanity.
What will definitely end and I'm very, very certain about this is man's limited consciousness about the real world that we're in. So, I'm asking you - what are you currently attached to as per your own definition of the world that you're living in? Right now everything that we can sense in a tangible manner are constrained resources. They are defined by degrees of limitations.
What will end is the "limited" world. What is sure to come is the "limitless" world - the dawn of the Age of Pisces, heralding the world of unlimited consciousness.
(Caveat: I'm no astrologer. No MENSA membership either. I'm just a freethinker who loves my cups of Starbucks frappucino, my current worldly attachment)
This is creepy to me to be sure, but... notatirem, you nailed the point where he lost me. Claiming your bragging rights for the next life/world? Um, yeah.
many JW's thought the world was going to end in 1975, Lindiloo. (specifically, September) The organization didn't outright say it, but they strongly implied it. Many did quit their jobs (to go full-time preaching), sell their possessions, take on debt, and various other shortsighted and stupid moves. Of course, when it didn't happen, the Org backed off, saying "Only God knows the time of the end" and "we never said that" kinda stuff. Yeah, right.
Last I heard, they were back to "any minute" but see natural disasters, crime, and general societal turbulance as signs of the end coming soon. Always feels kinda creepy when there's a natural disaster and my parents suddenly start telling me they love me at the end of phone conversations- reminds me that they believe God is going to obliterate me for not being a good enough person in my heart while they live on forever in paradise.
Gah.
Well the pole shift is something that is talked about in many other places. They've already shifted magnetically and the physical must then follow. When exactly it will happen is anyone's guess, but certainly when people talk about the end of the world this is what I think about. I really can't see a nuclear catastrophe though.
gee I'm not even 50 yet and I can recall lots of popular doomsday we're-all-gonna-die predictions from my lifetime
70s
new ice age
population explosion
the JW thing
skylab (wink)
Russia is going to bomb us
Swine flu
80s
Russia is going to bomb us
that time when all those planets lined up in a straight line
90s
Y2K
terrorism
AIDS
earth changes
global warming
00s
climate change
terrorism
pandemic
earth changes
and so forth
I'm not afraid either way. Any one of us can get hit by a meteorite falling from the sky any day, while we're snug in our beds at night a friggin' plane can come down and obliterate us...live each day to the fullest. If tomorrow is Armageddon Day, so be it--I'm ready for it. :)
This is serious shit...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQz4SSsmoEw
Elsa and that Gonzo guy are absolutely right.
Not for nothing, but contemplating if one can crystalize something able to withstand death and be reincarnated is more of a waste oftime than me worrying about my psychopathic stellium scorpio grand cross ex gf. Worry about developing your awareness RIGHT NOW , in this life. Im talking about what GI Gurdjieff says... but anyway.....
That article talks about April 1932 which from any HS Physics books tells the story of Enrico Fermi removing the controlling rods from the worlds first nuclear reactor at the University of Chicago causing said reactor to chain react ie go "critical."
By the way Fermi et al were taking bets at Las Almos, NM as to wether or not the entire atmosphere would explode during the Manhatten project down there. These threads of Elsa's are no focking joke.
Im gonna pull some rank and tell you'all Ive turned down National Institue of Mental Health Fellowships for a five year PhD program in Brain Sciences and Complex Systems as well as Texas Regents Fellowships in laser surgery and been coerced by the Holy Spirit to learn of these types of esotric studies. Elsa knows what the fock she is talking about. That all I want to say right.... here...except maybe this...

So keep believen in the half assed bufallo soldier in the whitehouse taking the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptlH-f37ppQ ; he will be underground when this shit goes down. Everyone else will be .....who knows where
in human experience.... the world is always ending.
luckily, it's always beginning anew, too.
it's about time for a big shakeup. i'm not worried. people are tough. life is stubborn. the universe keeps going. in the meanwhile i'll try to do something useful and enjoy what i can. gratitude and love can make even the scariest of weather less frightening....
I know, Jilly... Right????
We're never gonna see anything good this damned lifetime! Hahahaha!
Bat-shit crazy! I loathe it when an astrologer comes out with something kooky like this and screams it from the rooftops because it makes all the rest of us seem like waka-doos......No frickin' wonder we're misunderstood when poeple like this are out there!
Hey, guess what? We're all gonna die some day & the world will eventually end one way or another - what the hell good does it do for someone to come out & make doomsday prophesies like this & get everyone all worked up about it?
So what if some wacko like this is right some day? Who the fuck is going to be around to validate him and care????
@Alethea- Right? Hahahaha!

Dear Ed:
It's not time to talk about your natal chart nor mine: to predict the future we use transits and progressions to some key mundane charts.
Currently, three outer transiting planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, are all in the last quadrant of the zodiac, itself a momentous indicator that we are moving towards a grand ending. This is the end of human history on this planet. Uranus, often called the planet of humanity, ruling human sign Aquarius, not only is in the last quadrant of the zodiac but it's also about to end the last of the 12 signs, Pisces; and as it ends the last sign it enters into devastating stationary squares with the planet of death, Pluto.
Last time we had a transiting Uranus Pluto square partiling orb in the sky, humanity unleashed the energy of the atom for the first time. Recently John TWB and I were posting about how the first nuclear chain reaction happened only 4 days after the first partile (of 5) of the transiting Uranus Pluto square back in April 1932. I have studied the charts of many atomic explosions and showed that the Uranus Pluto midpoint was always in first tier prominence (on the angles, conjoined Sun or Mars or the Sun/Mars midpoint in the angles, etc.) every time there is an atomic explosion. Based on my knowledge of these charts, almost 3 years ago here in I_Predict I predicted many months in advance the exact date when North Korea was going to blast its first atomic bomb, and I was right to the very exact day as you may remember.
The transiting Uranus Pluto square has not returned since back in the early 1930's when nuclear energy was tapped for the first time. Now these two planets ruling nuclear energy are aligning in square aspect again, with Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn, and every time their orb turns partile (zero minutes exact), they knock-off a key planet in the radix chart of the United States. I have know this since 35 years ago when for the first time I taught my Predictive Astrology course: ever since then I have been predicting that the world will end by an all-out nuclear interchange when the aspect that originated nuclear weapons forms again in the sky. I have been teaching this to my students for 35 years uninterruptedly: Do you think that now that the Uranus Pluto square is about to form I will be backing up?. Of course not.
That the world is about to come to an end is a very well grounded prediction, astrologically speaking. It seemed so to me 35 years ago when I began to teach it to my astrology students. Now that I know a lot more astrology than I knew back then, the more certain I am about this. And it has nothing to do with nihilism or pragmatism, but only with a straightforward interpretation of the slow transits that we are about to start having as early as next Summer when 4 of the slower planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto) align in a "T"square at the onset of Cardinal signs.
If I'm wrong and the world does not end, I'll be very glad. I've been reincarnating in this world for many life times and I'd love to go on doing it. But as for now, I remain as convinced as ever that the world is going to end the year 2012 when the transiting Uranus Pluto square begins partiling. And you know I am also predicting that an asteroid is going to impact our world on July 31, 2010. And later on, on December 21, 2012, when the solstice Sun completes its on-going transition from the North galactic hemisphere to the South, the galactic Coriolis effect is going to induce a change of direction in all swirling vortices (every spinning electron or subatomic particle is a swirling vortice) that will cause the rotation pole of the Earth to leap to a new position, like it did about 13,000 years ago at the onset of the Age of Leo. The result will be the avalanche of the crust of the Earth, as the tectonic plates supporting the continents and the oceans rupture and begin to move, slowly at first, then faster and faster, until their free fall abruptly stops when they reach their new equilibrium in accordance with the new position of the pole. That's the hecatombic end of the world that the Mayans were expecting as the long count of their calendar comes to an end on the first day of the Winter of the year 2012.
In older postings I used to write a lot about how very few astrologers were able to predict World War 1 and World War 2, even though there was plenty of evidence of what was going to happen. Now, the world is coming to an end and as Javier Reynoso recently commented here, very few astrologers around the world are truly aware of the truly catastrophic events that are about to start happening in the coming months. Over 15 years ago when I first arrived to the Internet and joined the first mailing list for astrologers, the Festival list, I was the only one predicting the end of the world, and there were hundreds of good astrologers from many countries in that gigantic list that was the Festival list for astrologers. Javier is right when he says that 15 years ago, he and I were the only astrologers predicting the end of the world with the approaching transiting Uranus Pluto squares. Things have not changed that much since. Here we are, three years from the end of the world and very few astrologers are talking about it.
When the world ends, I am going to be reborn in a different world somewhere else, and I know I will keep some lucid memories about this life time and I will have a certain satisfaction then, to have been right predicting the end of the world...
When lots and lots of people die all at once, the great Equinoctial Machine operates under special algorithms to assign a new mother to each disembodied identity: we'll be sent to many different worlds, some very different from ours, no doubt. But wherever I end up for my next rebirth, you bet I will retain a certain sense of professional satisfaction at having been right predicting the end of this dear world we are now in.
Thanks for your keen and kind attention.
I wish you well
Gonzo
