"A former employee of a business located in a downtown Orlando building where a deadly mass shooting took place today is suspected in the attack.

One person is dead and 5 are confirmed shot in the incident, which took place about 11:50 a.m. at Legions Place, an office building near Interstate 4 and Ivanhoe Boulevard.

The suspect, Jason Rodriguez, 40, is believed to be driving a silver, 2002 Nissan SUV with tag number D119UX, Orlando Police spokeswoman Sgt. Barbara Jones.

Police think he is armed and still in the area.

Rodriguez was an employee of Reynolds, Smith & Hill, a transportation consulting firm."

You got to be F-ing kidding me. What the hell. I won't be surprised if another one pops up like this, I guess it is the trendy thing to do.

I have noticed over the past year or two (since I've been more plugged into astrology) that these tragedies (men going postal or killing their entire families etc.) are almost always caused by men between (38 -42 years old).

Is this  the mid-life transits gone horribly wrong?

"- The suspect in Friday's shooting of six people in a downtown high-rise is a 40-year-old "man with economic woes that include a recent bankruptcy filing, federal records show.

In his filing last May for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, under which he sought to have his assets liquidated and his debts discharged, Jason S. Rodriguez listed his assets at $4,675 and his liabilities at $89,873.31.

His 2002 Nissan XTerra with 110,000 miles represented $4,000 of those assets.

If you read the rest it just gets worse... and they say he is "typical" bankruptcy client which is no surprise but chilling just the same.

Let's face it, we are all at the mercy of some crazy bastard losing it and deciding to take others with him - it's not something you want to think about, but it's the truth, just like being in the way of some prick who decides to drive drunk - sigh.

You mean drive drunk, drive mad or drive while talking / texting on his/her cellphone.

I think this country is morphing into a war zone.

    Disgusting.

"The lawyer for the man accused of shooting six people, one fatally, at an Orlando office building on Friday told reporters after a court appearance on Saturday that his client was “very, very mentally ill.”

Very, very mentally ill? What the hell is that?  He killed the father of a 7 month old baby, pointed his gun and shot. So crazy he spent $90,000 before filing for bankruptcy. Woo woo woo, that sounds crazy to me, NOT.

    Just look at the remorse.

Fucking sick.  Fort Hood and now this?  I totally agree that we're living in a pressure cooker, but this is inexcusable.

What the fuck makes people think it's OK to KILL other people because their life is a mess that was totally caused by their own stupidity?  Where's the personal responsibility?  Was that ever taught to them?  It ain't always someone else's fault...

I call it the 'painbody'. It's an eckhart tolle term. People have so little self-control their rage manifests by exploding and taking it out on the rest of the world. So, crazy yes, but still very much responsible.
