I searched free birth charts about a week ago after a friend of mine showed me my chart. I looked up a few websites and one said that I have a Virgo rising and the other said that I have a Scorpio rising. Does that happen often or is one of the sites inaccurate? Alabe and Cafeastrology are the two that come up with different aspects to my chart. I haven't been coming across any information that will help me understand my birth chart.

That must be frustrating. It could be that in whatever places the time zone is not adjusting. Try astro.com. Click on Free Horoscopes in the menu bar. With astro.com I think it automatically does the time zone. Hope that helps. Happy Ascendant Hunting.

I remember once going to a website which said I have Libra Rising (not Scorpio), and I just had to go with my gut, because I know myself enough to know the Libra Rising for me is just ridiculous.  I even sent them an email, questioning that, and they insisted they were right and astro.com was wrong.  I think you have to read what you think makes the most sense for your personality.
