"Mexico's most wanted man Joaquin "Shorty" Guzman, blamed for thousands of deaths in a drug war, has made it onto the Forbes Magazine list of the world's richest people with an estimated $1 billion fortune... "

Lots of money to be made illegally.... while less and less to be made via conventional means. Violent beyond your wildest imagination - Not a good picture.

man, and people have got themselves all bent out of shape about Chris Brown being a nickelodeon kids award nominee.  puts things in perspective.

(not that I condone domestic violence:  I do not.)

I'm surprised Forbes put him on the list, I guess.

Is that the first time they've but a criminal on that list?

As far as I know, Jilly. It says "richest" and apparently they don't discriminate.

I think what were seeing more and more and more is CRIME PAYS.

I can't say I'd take advantage of that trend unless something I believed in was made illegal somehow. Then I wouldn't have any problems with participating.

Well, we're going to follow the rules as long as there are rules but it's seems to me the rules (Saturn) are being rebelled against (Uranus) in the name of freedom but once we have no rules, the REAL oppression of freedom will begin.

    Er... whiplash, see?

I have been involved in quite a number of drug trafficking cases.....the numbers are ridiculous...they (drug dealers) are getting more and more reckless and a sense of complete abandonment in their dealings....more and more hispanics are being deported for small stuff now...not just the big stuff...and loads of them are returning to their own countries, mainly Mexico on their own as their disillusionment of the US's "paved in gold" streets are left by the wayside.....

haha I actually can understand that haha.

I watched that John Adams miniseries (that Dorothy had mentioned here I think) & marvel at all those smart Aquarians who made up the rules for this country that engendered so much freedom.

    It's like, backwards, now.

I did my genealogy last year and Robert Morris is my 22nd (?) gr-gr grandfather. There's a cool painting on Wikipedia of Mercury giving him a bag of gold.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Morris_(financier)

He was a 0 degree Aquarius.

    Weird, kind of embarassing, times.
