9 year old Vid is wearing aftershave he got from Quirky Aquarian. With sun, moon and rising in Venus signs - he's a LOVER extraordinare!
My Taurus son is turning six this month and he loves good smelling lotions, soaps, candles--he wears his Dad's body spray and uses his body gel, it's cute! He is a consummate Taurus, always loving the creature comforts and STUFF in general. He is very cautious. Moon conjunct Venus in the 5th, he is very creative and artistic. I have a watercolor framed and hanging above my bed that he did at 2years 10 months!
My daughter is the sweetest soul who loves to cuddle. She also has a quickfire temper! She is smart as a whip and already understands almost everything you say at just two years, even very complicated things. Neptune on the Ascendant, I think she is a psychic. She loves girly girly things but she is also not afraid to run with the boys. Many remark how tough she is (she falls down and most of the time just gets up running again), and hopped on a 4 wheeler with her dad at a birthday party two weeks ago, and had a blast. She is very animated and outgoing and endears everyone.
I love my kids! What a great thread.
Aubrey, the 7 year old Capricorn. He doesn't wear cologne but he has very specific fashion ideas and prefers nice shoes if at all possible. This is his outfit for the wedding.
Lupa!! What an adorable boy you got there!!! I really like the look....I love hats and that he wants to wear one says so much.
I have two Sagi boys...well, guys...one is 22 and the other is 18 and I have read before that there are two different types of sagittarius, one is the ever optimistic and the other more pragmatic...well, I have both and it's so funny because they are so vastly different in some ways, yet so alike in others. For instance, they both have a great sense of humor, but one is more quick-witted and the other more beguiling. Joseph is my older boy and charming as the day is long...always has a smile on his face and rarely mad. He loves white water rafting, biking, boxing...and he is a math wiz and plays the guitar.beautifully, he owns 5 guitars..his skin is very olive....gets the latin side of the family genes..he is going to Costa Rica as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and build houses this summer. Harry is another math wiz, and is also into sports, but different kinds, hockey, soccer, basketball, football....the more traditional american sports just like his dad. They are a pair...they get so passionate about those games. Harry is also the artist, he loves to sculpt and read and he is so white and blond....that is cute to me. we are all animal lovers in this house and we have had a number of dogs, cats, birds, iguanas...anyway, Harry and my favorite is our big maincoon cat named Assasin....everybody in the neighborhood hates this cat because he terrorizes the other cats in the neighborhood, but Harry and I think this is the coolest thing. Joseph is very attached to our dog, Molly whom we found at the pound.
My oldest is my daughter who is 25 and she is a gem. Strong and fiery and such a mother hen to her younger brothers. she is a virgo with aries rising...straight to the point....I adore her and learn so much from her. She went to culinary school and is surprising all of us with fabulous desserts and foreign dishes....she loves thai as do I. She is sweet and incredibly strong and quick to temper which Joseph finds amusing and eggs her on. That aries rising causes her some problems with driving her car....she is always in a hurry and bumps into things all the time...and weird stuff...like the mailbox, the side of the house, once we were predicted to have an ice storm she literally parked her car down the block away from any trees and in the morning she went to get her car and the one tree around went straight into her back window and plunged through her car, straight through the radio and into the engine....strange thing....it was the only damage we had and it didn't happen at our house.
I too really enjoy my kids and would have had a half dozen if my husband hadn't stopped us. I have always wanted to expose my children to foreign lands and experience different cultures and we have been fortunate to have been able to do that. I was never the type to cook different meals for my husband and then chicken nuggests for my kids....no, if I was cooking chicken curry....we all ate the same thing at the same time....family table time has always been very important to me...
Thanks for putting this up....I love talking about my kids. One question...I have read a few posts on how sagittarius are hard signs....one post in particular where everybody was asked if they could be another sign which would it be and a number of people said not a sagi or sagi was their least choice. Can someone explain that to me ...what is it about them...their optimism or the world revolves around me attitude because I have noticed that with my boys at times.....thank you
My daughter has a stellium in Libra (Venus, mercury,Sun) in the 3rd house. She is verrry articulate and loves to read and write stories. She is kind to others but has a quick temper, lol. Her birth opened my heart up to possibilities I never thought could happen to me. She also has her Pisces moon in the 8th house. She is 10 going on 20.
My son is a little lover he is a Cancer Sun in the 12th house along with his Venus. His moon is in Leo in the first, and he loooovvees being the focus of others attention, lol. He is only 9+ months old and he definitely loves figuring out ways to get to stuff he shouldn't. He is a little miracle that I thought wouldn't arrive. Both children have Cancer rising.

Arnaud is Capricorn rising, an old wisdom surrounds him, Leo Sun which is in his 7th house because his first house is intercepted, huge and includes half of Capricorn, all of Aquarius, and part of Pisces and includes Neptune on top of his AC giving him very dreamy big brown eyes and a real dreaminess about him which he is currently experiencing as a blankness - he has never touched weed, and yet could pass as a stoner because he's like, 'Huh? what?' as if he were somewhere else half of the time...when he was little he'd say things like, "When I was still with God..." first house also includes Uranus ... his wiring is something different for sure, something I cannot yet put my finger on, if I ever will, and pretty much misunderstood so far in school - after pretty much not performing/achieving at school thus far he came home the other day to inform me he totally gets the Chemistry they were doing in Science class and was the first one finished the assignment...just outta nowhere...also in his first house in Pisces is Saturn...not yet sure how to interpret that...

Oh my...I love this thread:)))
Yeah that's really sweet. Not sure if this is a separate thread- but what's the astrology behind having kids or not-- ? Classic signs of fertility? Strong 4th or 5th house? Moon aspects?
My 10-year old, Venus-ruled, Libra Sun, Taurus Moon and Taurus ascendant son came home today with a smile on his face for the first time since 5th grade began. He got clocked as the fastest runner in the class. "I'm just glad to finally get some respect," he said.
(and let's not forget, Venus is also at her starting line)
oh, my goodness! I can't pass this one up, I have to brag on all three of my astounding children. This is just what I needed to cheer me up!
My careful, considerate, serious, optimistic kayak adventuring book worm of a son is 9 years old, he is a Capricorn with Leo rising and a Sag. moon. He is God in the school play, and very pleased about it! He wears his hair long a la Leo, and doesn't care what anyone says about that!
My daughter Lola is almost 7, She is a Taurus with Scorpio rising and a massive seventh house Gemini pile up! She just radiates love where ever she goes. Yes she will do almost anything to please you, but don't underestimate this girl, and her Aries moon! She is an absolute tower of strength and the most profound natural artist I have ever met.
Xixi my youngest at 4 years old is the undisputed ruler. You just do not mess with this girl. She is a Leo with Cancer rising With her moon in Virgo, and she is one tough little mama. She goes to sleep holding three dollies every night and can't sleep untill she gets them settled.
OOOOOOOOOOh that was fun.
Omie my little Cappie has a stellium in the 5th house. He had really long hair for a long time and then decided to cut it short because he was "bored of telling people he was a boy". He has a lot of Aquarius and his step brother says he's the funniest of all of us.
My daughter is a 15 year old Virgo with Pluto conjunct her Scorpio ascendant. She is one locked vault when she chooses to be. She tries very hard to keep her Gemini mom in line with very limited success.
Oldest son is 17 and a Sag with Leo moon. The jury is still out until his brain returns but he has a great sense of humor, an easy smile and an infectious laugh.
My son has a fantastic sense of humor. He was so young when he learned the art of a joke... I can't wait to laugh even more as he gets older and funnier! He also loves to say, "Mommy when I get older, I can help you change the lightbulb. Mommy, when I get older, I can cook dinner for you. Mommy, when I get older, I can put you down for a nap."
He's a Sag Sun with a lovely 1st house Virgo Moon.
my little 4 year old queen: gemini sun, libra moon, virgo rising
she is always a busy little bee, doing umpteen different things at once, singing, painting, drawings. dolls awaiting-watching, dress-up, ooops i forgot my lipstick, heels, and oops spilled the yogert i better get a spounge to clean it- oh well, so many spounges to choose from...mom which color spounge should i use...me: what are you doing? drawing, come look, i made a drawing for grandma...
yes, organized chaos in a 1 meter high little bundle.
how do i post a pic- i can't just paste it in?
aml - it has to be uploaded somewhere and then click the pic of the tree on the tool bar and paste the URL and voila!!
Lupa! He's sooo handsome and mature-looking. My lab partner in my geology class is a Capricorn, he's only 20 and works as the assistant manager at one of the banks after school so he is always dressed up. He bears a striking resemblance to your son (minus the hat, which is super snazzy =)
These are my girls, Asia and Amaya. They both have Cancer ASC like their daddy.

This is Asia, my tripple Capricorn (sun, moon, venus all in the 7th). She's incredibly sweet and thoughtful. She pays attention to EVERYTHING and a tad bit of a worry wart. Very studious and responsible, I hear nothing but good words about her from her teachers. One minor complaint is that she's a paper pack-rat, her desk at home and her desk at school are overflowing with papers that she refuses to let go. She's very sensitive (like her momma) and vocal about it. She says when she grows up she wants to be a veteranarian by day and a rock-star at night. I told her she can do whatever she sets her mind to =)

This one.... Amaya, well, the picture says it all. She walked in there and posed without any instruction. She's a Virgo with Sag moon and Venus in Leo (1st house). She knows what she wants and likes and doesn't hesitate to let anyone now, she's not shy at all. She has a stellium in the 3rd house and I swear she tried to converstate with with me when she was like 2 weeks old. The most striking thing about her is her acting skills (Leo venus?), she likes to imitate characters and will channel any persona that will get her what she wants (she bats her eyelashes A LOT when she wants something, oh and she has the biggest most sparkly brown eyes).
They are both very affectionate and they get along well with eachother. I feel so lucky to have them.
Shell your little gals are lovely! I love that she was 'communicating' with you from the get go.:)
My 6-year old 12th house Pisces daughter is an swesome swimmer. She is in touch with her inner mermaid - I believe Ariel is her favorite princess. I believe it's an awesome way to channel the spirituality promised by the 12 house - especially given that her Pisces is intercepted there.
Shell, your daughters are gorgeous. Aubrey was born January 19th. It was an intense experience being pregnant during and after Sept. 11th. I worked in an office building in downtown Atlanta and the heightened paranoia was incredible during that time.
Kyle, age 11, is a 10th house Leo with Libra rising. Moon in Leo. He is passionate about films and told me he wants to be a film director. He has a very deep, natural understanding of all things esoteric. He read one of my astrology books over our recent vacation and ended up explaining parts I didn't understand to me. I'm not sure how this shows up in his chart...but he has Neptune in Cap conjunct Uranus in Aquarius in the 4th house. He's not flashy ...as I kind of expected with Leo/Libra. Publically...he's a quieter, more soft spoken Leo....with Mercury and Venus in Virgo. At home...his laughter resonates day in and day out. Light of my life!!
Deirdre, your guy must have been born around the same time my 10 year old Libra Sun daughter. What a cutie. I love this thread all these cutie pies!!! ![]()
Then we are related! Lukas has moon in Taurus and Mars at 0° Virgo -- is that similar timing, miss?
Lupa--Yes!! I live in Killeen/Ft. Hood, the largest U.S. military installation in the world and things were crazy here on 9/11. I actually had an appointment that day and never made it because security on post was at a standstill and I was in traffic for a few hours. I'll never forget feeling like 'man, what kind of world am I bringing this child into?' Scarry time to be pregnant.
All of your children sound amazing and the pics are beautiful!
ps: i think i win the brag award....didn't mean to post it quite that large, but i'm sure his 10th house sun is at least approving!
Deirdre, my daughter has her Mars at 28degree Leo and Pisces Moon at 19 degrees. Her b day is 10/4/98.
Oh, your daughter is an older woman by four days. I bet there is a big difference between them, though, with that Mars sign change. Mars in Leo is such great fun with gusto and panache. My son channels this more into detailed drawings of large motors, maybe thats just German Virgo-ness. Playing drums has been awesome for him all the way around. How does your daughter get to show off? 10 going on 20, haha. She reminds me of that smart scientific, girl from Zoe 101.
Deirdre,a gal I work with her son was born Oct 1,1998. My daughter,Ari is into science and writes very descriptive stories. That is prob the Libra stellium in the thrid house.
what gorgeous offspring you all have!! this is my "baby" Bailey - she'll be 20 this year.
Leo/Cappy rising, Scorpio Moon. She has a heart of gold and is funny as hell- if she gets to know you well enough for you to ever get the chance to hear any of it.
Vid started back in karate with a vengence. He is on the pay one price per month and have 1 private lesson a week and all the group classes you want (there are 5 per week and he attends them all).
Today his private instructor told him he was his favorite student... ever.
I AM FREAKIN' PROUD.
That's so awesome, Elsa! I imagine Karate is natural for him (taurus, yes?), with all of the disciple and self-control/respect/ andrespect for others. I bet the soldier is proud too.
Goddess--I bet you and your daughter get mistaken for sisters often!
"He asked me questions and I got 7 of them right and 2 of them wrong. I got questions wrong so he got to hit me with this 10 pound weight," Vid told the soldier, excitedly. 'And I got 7 right so I got to slam a 10 pound weight into his stomach 7 times..."
Er... my kid has Jupiter and Mercury in Aries. He likes this male stuff. He also has the best posture in class (Sun Saturn) and kids who fuck off annoy him to no end.
One last thing... old timers know I have extremely strong legs. I used to throw the soldier off the bed onto the floor with them when we were kids. He denies this half the time, the other half the time (2 faced Gemini) he says I'd not be able to do it today but anyway...
In the class, Vid is a beginner, yellow belt and just coming back after more than 2 years. But he is super co-ordinated and they had the kids standing across from each other, one holding the pad, the other kicking it. Class or about 18 so 9 pairs and my kid kicks and his partner (same size) goes flying.
The kid looked all shocked and indignant but gained his composure. Vid kicked again, he went flying again, this time landed on his back. he looked at the instructor like "tell this MF'er to stop" and the instructor said, "Brace yourself. You know how to hold that pad."
Vid made his 3 more kids and the kid absorbed him but he looked at him as if he were an animal. I just thought it was so funny... I am obviously and overly proud and aggressive mom! On the other hand without a Vid in the class, whatcha got?
With a Vid in the class, what you have is new standard.
The other amusing thing is they told the kids to pair off by size and some little boy, "Mr Foster" challenged Vid. Vid was incredulous because, "Mr Foster", also a yellow belt is about the size of Dora. Vid looked at him like, I am going to kill you. Vid is not that big but it is clear he is going to be. His feet have grown XL and we'll be lucky if he stops growing 'round 6'3"
Anyway, Mr Foster was insistent so Vid obliged by pinning Dora to the grown 10 times in the time allotted. I confess to say I love watching this stuff.
What I don't like is the men trying to pick me up. The other parents, I mean. For one thing I am too old for this shit but anyway, the soldier will come first chance he can and as soon as he does, I am sure that will be the end of that. I will be oblivous but he will be glaring, I am sure.
For the record, it is not the instructors it is the dads in there... I am seen as new blood, obviously. Yecch,.
