But you stop blaming yourself if you understand the astrological influences behind it.  Twice the impact but only half the damage, so to speak.

Transiting Pluto crushing the following synastry aspects:

    Saturn opposite Saturn

    Saturn conj Moon

    Saturn square Venus

...Letting go never felt so good and more of a heroic act!  How could two people with bad saturn synastry aspects survive when both of them goes through Saturn square at the same time?

I'd say Saturn, bring it on!

bad saturn synastry aspects are an absolute nightmare; even for the diehards!! Was married to 'un with synastry Saturn sq. Saturn - EXACT! Me a Cancer rising, saturn conj. asc...  For the longest time, been one to 'hope' things will change. With this aspect et al, I honestly feel it best to cut one's losses whilst one still can.

Aw, Radhika that one hurts! But you're right, better cut one's losses early on.

I guess I'm a weirdo on this one.  Unless there's some seriously bad juju, the astrology doesn't matter to me much.  If there is bad juju, it can help me find it and ameliorate.

Saturn can restrict, but Saturn can also stabilize.  Depends on which side you emphasize.

"Saturn can restrict, but Saturn can also stabilize."

Right. The best approach is letting go with the flow.  By the end of my saturn and pluto square, I'll be an expert on the subject.

    (what's a juju?)

Strictly defined, juju = magic (originally from Voudon), but I use it loosely to mean "feel" or "energy."

    How is it done?

agreed, SaDiablo! Honestly, when I was married, wasn't even remotely aware of the astro side of things! btw, I love your use of 'juju'! :) When  I finally called it quits, it was 'coz of weird juju in spades!!

... then, astro walks into the bar, - 'n I begin to piece things somewhat together ...

Eh?  I don't practice Voudon, if that's what you're asking about.  I have no idea how it's done.  I just like the word juju.  And etymology.
If I misunderstood, lemme know.  It's Merc retch, after all.

Got to say this though: doubt I could ever be with someone long term with harsh saturn aspects between us, the square, the opp, their saturn squ my moon. Set up for disaster. Many other aspects are workable but not those in my opinion.

Was someone I was fairly attracted to and our charts were a nice mix but our saturns opposed -- nothing ever happened.

One observation I made as well:

We have a lot of saturn/moon/pluto/venus trines and sextiles interaspects BUT most of the planets on my side got hit by the lunar eclipse in August and somehow that got me into thinking that the eclipse weakened our strong and stabilizing links to each other.

Discussing about this extremely personal subject in this manner makes me feel like a surgeon professor in front of his class discussing a major surgery I've just done with a loved one.

    Cool. Composed. Precise.
