I mean really LOOK at yourself?  I can't do it.  I mean, the only time I look in the mirror, is off-hand when I'm combing my hair after a shower or brushing my teeth to make sure I didn't drool fuckin' toothpaste down my shirt.  But, generally, I can't look directly at myself for more than, maybe, three seconds at the most.  If I do, it's because I'm trying to glare myself out of countenance for something stupid or sloppy I just did.

I have a magnifying mirror to put on my liquid eyeliner.  It's like a vision-portal into a hell dimension.  "are those pores or moon craters?"

so YES, I can, but it's very humbling (aesthetically, leo-rising-wise).

I occasionally will go into the bathroom and just stare myself down. More often than not I really don't recognize the guy looking back at me. I'll make different expressions and even occasionally talk to myself. It's like he's changed drastically just in the last year. It's a strange sensation to think that the person in the mirror is a reflection of me.

I do look into my eyes. As though I might find an answer there...  They are dark eyes and I can't see through them!!!!

I can spend a good chunk of timing looking in the mirror lol. I talk to myself or play out a future conversation, I'll pluck my eyebrows, criticize my bad skin, admire my makeup, check out my body, dance, make faces, cry....

I'm freaking weird, I'd die if someone ever caught a video of me chilling in the bathroom. People would legitimately think I'm crazy.

I can. But I taught myself this. It was rough. I had gained 60# after I had my son and I just had to come to terms...accept myself.  It was an important turning point.

i get lost staring..  inspecting spots.. trimming the facial hair (and plucking stray eyebrow hairs)........ examining the color of my eyes.

I find it interesting that aries don't think they are attractive. Well some don't so others will have to pipe up if it's incorrect. My cute aries supervisor said it took him a long time to realize he was attractive.. and by then he was well into his high school girlfriend who he later knocked up and married. He does have a pesky moon in virgo but is still part of the pluto in libra generation.

Are you all too busy running around? Or is it because sometimes your energy isn't attractive by being agressive so then you think you or your face isn't? Or are you ugly? jk

I used to do it a lot trying to suss myself out hahaha - that was when I was really good looking. Now I just do it when I have to - plucking, or cleansing. Way too much plucking these days ;)

Oh yes. virgo rising so v v critical & the plucking smoothing pore cursing stuff.....but sometimes I oddly fascinate myself when I catch a fleeting glance and then i stop to stare

I can and I do, it does take a lot of work.  I also look hard into my own eyes and say out loud, "I love you, and I want you to have whatever it is you want."  Now that takes work. 

I would rather not. But do when I suspect something weird or gross might be there and I would be embarrassed.

A self-help book I was working through had an exercise where you had to look at yourself in the mirror and say, "I will not forsake you" (meaning yourself, obvy).  Damn, that was hard!

I can look without any trouble, but I can't say the Louise Hay stuff without feeling really uncomfortable.

Yes, I can. I regularly make myself do so! I don't really find answers there, but it does help to ground me in some strange way. I will do it for a while and then walk away. I don't do it so much when I'm grooming. I for some odd reason feel like this is something to take seriously and grooming is not allowed until after.

Yes, I can look at myself in the mirror for looks, and to remind myself that I am quite beautifully made physically with the other venus sign of Taurus, and my Sun rising in my chart.

With my 1st house chart ruler in my 12th, in Aries, opposite Pluto, and trine an 8th house Neptune, looking beneath my pretty exterior isn't easy for me.

I can honestly only look into my ancient, world weary, too many lifetimes to count, deep, black, knowing eyes for very short periods of time. It feels like I'm sucking myself into my own hypnotic gaze, and I don't want to 'see' it all.

Well yes, I have to pluck my eyebrows somehow without stabbing myself in the eye...

But metaphorically, not always. I start seeing how I look to other people and my pisces starts weeping from being tired of removing illusions one by one...

When you are a dancer you can't avoid the truth of mirrors and yes, they tell you the truth and show you yourself back bigger  than life! Yes, I can look in the mirror and often do because that tells me how I look or how a move I's working on looks to others.  I think it is very harlthy to have a good relationship with your mirror and make friends with yourself!

I love looking in the mirror! I have LIBRA TOO! If I see a reflection I will look at it!

Yes. I have the best conversations with myself when I stare myself down!

If I stare too long, I start finding faults. When I find faults, I tend to question. When I question, then I tend to answer. When you talk to yourself AND answer yourself too - that's when you know you're going off the edge. haha.

However - eyeliner is a real bitch to put on without one.

InTheDark, hahaha!  I dropped acid in highschool in '86 and Physical Education was my 1st Period class.  It kicked-in halfway through and by the time I got back to the locker-room and happened to see myself in the mirror I looked kind of like Michael Jackson did in "Thriller"! (with the dark-circled bug-eyes, I mean) 

Mirrors? Hell I look at the reflection in the silver handle on my oven door. Very very vain, but isn't that a dominate Libra trait??

I've always had a problem with this too, nutsy. I do not do it unless necessary, like when combing or putting on make-up or to just make sure my face is clean and OK. I take a quick look and if there's nothing horrible going on, I leave immediately. I am bothered if I have to be somewhere where I see my reflection for a long time and feel totally uncomfortable.

Yes, I can.  Drawing self-portraits will do that to you after a while.

Although I often forget and am startled by myself in the mirror.  Usually in a good way these days, which is kind of a nice change.

I think my eyes have some sort of rosy hue because I often think I look good in the mirror...probably Venus conjunct sun. The mirror I am good with but sometimes photos and videos are surprising!
