So, I've been hearing over and over again that Scorpios are supposed to be greatfor Capricorns.  I beg to differ.  After having two catastrophic relationshipswith two scorpios in a row, I feel spent.

So, my question is this:  I'm in love with a pisces guy and have been for fiveyears and I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual.  Now, that I've been throughtwo terribly emotionally draining relationships with these other guys, I don'tknow how to open up with my pisces.  I want to be affectionate with him, but Ikeep feeling silly and insecure.  I want to be warm and tell him how I feel, butI'm super cautious.   Interestingly, he has expressed the same problem.  One night, after an awkward and tense visit, he called me about five minutes after he left to say that he wants nothing more than to hug and kiss me when he sees me, but for some reason feels he can't.  For as long as we've known each other, it's been like this.  It's not that we haven't been affectionate.  We have and when we are or when we do, it's AMAZING!  Nothing on Earth feels more right.

I don't know why we're acting like this.  I have known and sincerely loved himhim for what seems like forever.  How do I get past these barriers? How do WE get past this?  Are we both just incredibly shy about boy/girl things?  I don't really want to wait for him to make the first move, but it's so hard to build up the nerve.  How do I approach this???

are you looking for an astrological approach or something else? Where is Saturn in the synastry?

The pisces guy I know/dated had this with a previous capricorn girl he was dating...he said that they had a lot of fun talking and hanging out with other people, and then they would hang out alone, but then it would get awkward. Like, they couldn't talk to each other anymore or touch or feel "close"

He ended up getting over her because neither of them was willing to make the first move.

(my opinion) Since you're the cardinal sign, and he's mutable, I say just go for it, steer him, otherwise he'll end up going the opposite direction

I think venus have more of an influence on relationships than sun signs.

I have an aquarius sun and my hub's is a capricorn, if you based our relationship on that, we wouldn't have one :) Air & Earth just can't comprehend one another.

Our venus's are compatible, though I can't think of his right now, I just know they like each other.

    Man,

When Pisceans like Caps, there are usually shy and awkward moments between them; and it's because of that innate attraction we have for one another. Every Pisces guy I meet, I have a strange attraction to them, and when I find out their birthday is in late February or early March, it's always probable.

Pisces senses Capricorn cardinal lead; and in turn follows it unconsciously.

    hrae is right.

Go for it. Because if you don't regardless of the type of friendship you guys build, he'll procrastinate and even lie about his feelings for you. I've learned my lesson with my first love who was Pisces. Who has always had feelings for me, but didn't exactly know how to ever muster up the courage to approach me right.Regardless of the fact that we have every bit of contact in the world.

We knew eachother a little more than 2 years before we got married.  We have been married for 10.5 years and had a beautiful Pisces daughter (to go along with an Aries son from a former marriage).

    that's really cool..

I always click well with Pisces. The chemistry is off the hook! I'm probably gonna end up married to one too :)

As a Pisces girl, I always assumed that because I felt so much, I didn't need to express it- that putting it out there would somehow make it real & any rejection would mean the feelings were not legitimate. Us fishies assume that those that we love somehow just know how we feel- it doesn't occur to us that they may not. I am married to a scorp (very long term) & seriously, unless someone else got us together, we would still be in love from afar. Goatgirl7- you go for it.

I am a capricorn woman who has been with a pisces man for 14 years. Overall, at the very least it has been extremely frustrating. although I believe we truly Love each other. Many love letters from him and expensive gifts, a big diamond engagement ring, but it is not enough for me. I have to respect the decisions and life choices of my partner in general and although he has mars in capricorn exalted in the first house and makes a decent living. his business and ideas and dreams seem to take precidence over reality and everyday living and planning for an ideal future.  We feel very comfortable as friends and had great sex (compatibility in many areas in our charts) but somehow there has always been an awkwardness, and an inability to express fully how either of us feels so we are able to move on to a higher plane. Maybe you should try and do a synastry composite chart for both of you. Say and do what you feel you need to in the relationship asap. You will then know if it can be worked out and if he is a willing recipient for your feelings and desires on a longer term basis. Capricorns in general are level headed, work/goal oriented and usually good with finances. Pisces in general are not that way. but please check the whole chart for compatibility.
