Massive grand cross involving  the Moon, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn Uranus and Pluto on August 7, 2010. (I'm working on the calendar)  1-5 degrees Cardinal...

My earliest cardinal's at 8 Libra, so yay?  At least it's a year away!  *laughs*

Wow. That looks like a real personal day. No Pluto transits, but my software only allows a 2 degree orb.

All those other planets are hanging all over me me, like kids who glue themselves to your leg. :)

I am waiting for someone to show up and say this is their birthday. 

There are other days leading into this in June and July. Basically it's the entire summer and between now and then we're doing nothing but heading there as in "all roads lead to Rome".

Well it's 6 days away from my birthday - but I all ready survived a total solar eclipse on my birthday 2 years ago - oh well, good to have a heads up!

I have a T square at 4 degrees cardinal. If I'm in nursing school by then, it might give me beneficial intensity and energy. Or, I might just die.

That pileup will affect my Uranus (6 Libra) and Venus (29 Virgo).  Most of my personal Cardinal stuff is in the mid degrees and won't be affected.  (Moon's at 19 Libra; MC/IC axis is 15 Cap/Cancer.)

Pluto, Jupiter and Mars will be hitting natal Uranus; they won't affect Venus because it's out of sign.  Saturn, Venus and Uranus will be hitting natal Venus.  Is all this trying to tell me something about the coming Uranus midlife half-return???    Oy.  This is gonna be some birthday.

hrae, they happen fairly routinely but not involving the outer planets like this. This is a WICKED situation by anyone's standards and it is sure to be a tumultuous time beyond anything I've seen in my lifetime.

Uranus and Pluto were conjunct in the 60's - this is the square (hard aspect) and Saturn is involved... various other sundries.

Still the Pluto square + Saturn Square, transit Saturn past tight conjunction with Pluto (4 Libra), transit Pluto still tight conjunct with Moon (2 Cap), natal Venus at 11 Cancer, and transiting Jupiter/Uranus in early degrees Aries. (per astro.com)

I think more of the current good things to come.  Thanks to the Saturnine lessons!  I would definitely continue to anchor to Saturn while Jupiter and Venus are keeping me aboveboard and the fiery Mars in my 1st house to jetfuel my efforts onto Virgo stability (progressed Sun and natal Mars)

I just need to arrive at Virgo and I think I can sigh a heavy sense of relief.

Just checked the transit calender and was reminded of this grand cross.  Our next trip to Ireland may very well fall around the end of July beginning of August.  Yikes!  I'm going to be paying close attention to these threads. 

I think we'll all feel this if for no other reason it falls smack-dab on the USA (Sibly chart) Midheaven-IC. The USA MC is 01:03 Libra and Saturn will be right on it along with the rest of the pack. And transiting Pluto at 03:07 Capricorn will be right opposite the USA Venus at 03:07 Cancer. And Venus rules the USA Midheaven. Like Elsa said it's going to be going on all summer. The transiting Nodes will be crossing the USA Sun, transiting Mars square the USA Jupiter, and on August 7, the Moon will cross over the USA Sun, too, which by itself happens every month, but I just see it as another trigger because this is so massive.

I'm not a mundane astrologer but I don't see how something BIG is not gonna happen affecting the entire country this summer. I hesitate at delineating all this because again, I'm not a mundane astrologer and also because it looks very serious to me and I don't want to be an alarmist. I'd rather leave the predicting to the experts. 

We've got all this tension building even now with the Saturn-Pluto square, then Uranus is going to go into Aries, Jupiter is going to join it there forming the t-square, and I think there will be a big release of the tension, in other words, something's going to blow.  Earthquake? Volcano? Terrorist attack? In an individual's chart, there can be conscious choice to get to work to use difficult energies constructively, but in mundane astrology, there tends to be a lowest common denominator rule in effect. The prevailing collective thinking prevails, if that makes sense. 

An alternative to thinking gloom and doom, I think, is preparedness.

Interesting...I just looked at the UK Chart, and tr. Uranus/Saturn will fall across the natal Uranus in Libra (12th/Ascendant) and Aries NN (7thDescendant). Both squared by Pluto et al from the 4th and 10th.

Don't know about you, but Uranus conjuncting Aries NN square Pluto in the 4th and opposing Saturn conjunct Uranus in 12th near asc. smells uncomfortably like war to me. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Opal, I think the t-square that'll be in effect once Uranus enters Aries taken alone smells uncomfortably like war. Saturn-Pluto hard aspects are war indicators. The September 11 attacks took place under the Saturn-Pluto opposition. Add Uranus in Aries, explosive Uranus in the sign that more than any other rules war, soldiers, fighting, etc, opposite Saturn and Mars in Libra. Mars-Saturn together are hard work, and Libra isn't always the "nice" sign or the peacemaker. Libra can be the iron fist in the velvet glove. Mars-Saturn is more iron than velvet it seems to me. Forced cooperation? When Jupiter joins Uranus, it could just be the thing that makes it all explode. Or, Jupiter-Uranus is truth, some kind of revelation that brings on conflict, certainly some kind of action. Whatever it is, it's not going to be a slow-news summer ;-) That I would say is certain. What Elsa said: tumultuous time.

All this said, there is tremendous potential for positive achievements both collectively and individually. With all of this energy in cardinal signs, things will HAPPEN and there's no reason it can't be good, especially on an individual basis.

My SO has Moon (and Jupiter, part of the 1975 T-cross) in early degrees of Aries, next to Uranus/Jupiter. I have Sun 7 degrees Libra, only two degrees from Mars. My country chart has Mercury/ North Node conjunct 1st degree Capricorn, and Pluto 4 degrees Cancer. We will be affected, in a way or another.

Whatever happens, I hope it's juicy--maybe I'll FINALLY smash the downstairs neighbor's face!  :D

BTW, I tried setting a chart for August 7th  10.30 am EET in Helsinki, and noticed the axis were practically enclosed by the Grand Cross.  It will be very early Saturday night in the USA, early Saturday afternoon in the Middle East, and late afternoon/evening in Far East. 

Time to batten down the hatches and prepare for the un-preparable? :)

 So not prepared here, but I feel almost relieved, because for years I've been walking around with this weird feeling of uncertain doom.

Wyrdling if that makes you crazy then I'm right there with you.  I really want to be away from here during this transit.  We are hoping to have all the kids with us for the next trip.  If I had to get stuck somewhere because of turmoil in the world I would want it to be Ireland with all my kids there too.

Ugh, this grand cross is going to be hitting everything important in my chart. EVERYTHING. I wish I had money for a consultation! It would be good for me right now, I don't want to waste the energy cowering around. What would be some good advice for a 0 degree Aries right now? It's hitting all of my angles and my Sun-Jupiter conjunction. I'm also a 4 degree Libra rising.

I knew that my breakup was good timing. Something about this whole thing, which will also be happening right on top of my descendant, screams I should not be in a relationship. I keep having hunches I will either be getting an opportunity that will be greatly affected by whether or not I am in a relationship. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but we'll see what happens. Maybe it's something that is coming slowly and that I am creating by not being in one anymore. My sense of self and focus changes when I am not in a relationship. I'm not a relationship kind of gal. 7th house Aries and Venus in Aquarius. It makes sense.

Jupiter and Uranus both conjuncting my Sun/Jupiter Conjunction. This is going to be nuts!

So true! I've been getting the brunt of all of the nut transits for a few months now. I keep waking up stronger and stronger. Such a contrast from a year ago during the middle/end of my Pluto/Sun transit. Ah, what a mess I was!

I say everyone be prepared to be unprepared. That's my life right now.
