What movies were you watching as you were "coming of age" Is there a genre that you identify with your peer group?

I hit puberty at nine.  My coming of age movies are from my sister's gerenation (ie, those listed), not mine.  I don't even know what movies someone of my peer group  would think to list...  *laughs*

Um, I've alwasy been quite disconnected from my peer group, so not sure how much help I'll be with that part of the question.

But for me, yes, definitely Top Gun!
