Anyway...This got me to thinking about the Flight of the conchords episode where Jemain (also a capricorn) does a knock out Bowie impression which got me to thinking about Jim Carrey (cap) doing Andy Kaufman (cap) doing Elvis (cap) in Man on the Moon.  Even my Capricorn brother was briefly an elvis impersonator.  Anyone else ever notice capricorns being other capricorns and find it funny.

I watch Bowie like some people watch porn. Plus we both had bad teeth that we had fixed (though I was sad he fixed his). I like how his eye was permanently made crazy-looking over a fight with a girl--Venus in Aries thinks that's tops! He just commands so much respect--David Bowie, the only man I prefer in makeup, lol

I read an interview with Patti Smith (another Capricorn). She said she used to dress up as Charles Beaudelaire when she first started performing poetry/spoken word. I like some old fashioned gender bending.

I love David Bowie too. I saw him live in the early 80s.

I am cancerian and don't understand caps at all!!! But always loved bowie and patti smith for that matter. As a kid, was very obsessed with him, esp in that movie The Man Who Fell to Earth, and also loved that old fashioned gender bending, video for boys keep swinging, for example. Had all the records, esp loved station to station and heroes.... Those come to mind for some reason....

It's interesting to think about the Cancer/Capricorn axis. My best friend is a Cancer and I think we compliment each other well. Maybe I'll start a new thread.

Notatirem - your post made me think of Val Kilmer, Cap, who played an Elvis/Subconsious in "True Romance" and Nicholas Cage, another Capricorn, who is obsessed with Elvis. This is interesting, I have to do more research!

downtomars, good examples.  This is something ive always noticed, its like being chained to the rings of saturn gives them a direct line back to the capricorn conciousness and they can channel each other better than any sign.

I think Bowie was born on Elvis' birthday.

I'm a Cap and I've been known to sing Bowie tunes.  That's singing in the shower.  

I saw Bowie live in the Glass Spider tour in the early 80s.  I was with my hubby who has a Cap moon.  

As for Cap channelling Cap, maybe.  It's an interesting thought.  I think the Cap fish tail swirls over some water element from its opposite sign of Cancer.  

I'm a Capricorn, and I've been compared to other Capricorn women. Like Mary Tyler Moore or Mary J. Blige. I have that type of personality. I don't try to impersonate, but I give off some of those auras.

I LOVE Capricorns, they are my favorite sign & we've always got along fabulously. I love Cappy's too.  The only strained relationship I ever had with a Cappy was with my dad, but there's still a lot of love there, obviously.  There's something about Capricorns that make me feel calm and relieved to be in their presence.  Maybe it's my cappy moon and 10th house sun and mercury.  I'm taking one class for summer semester and I'm currently doing a paper on Clara Barton, the nurse of all nurses during the Civil War who was a humanitarian/abolitionist that founded the American Red Cross.  She was a Cappy =)  Gotta love em.

Like a lot of you, I have come to like Capricorns. I used to think they were boring, cold, and uncaring people.

But I've come to realize they're just practical, mature, and want to help people, but in a realistic way.

Like Elsa said once that you could learn a lot from the sign after you. I'm a Sagittarius and since Capricorn is after me, I can learn a thing or two from them.
