i know astrologers are not Psychics but is there a way to predict the way we may die or  better still if the death is most likely to be caused  by say a car crash or some other sudden and surprising event or maybe death by health issues what illness's will make us so sick and even cause our death

and 4th house in virgo ......i  have no idea what either would mean... i will die while desperately criticising everyone

This 8th house Saturn initially read that as "The Only Thing Certain in Life is Death and Texas." Evidently I'm a touch dyslexic when suffering from insomnia.

Pisces Sun, Pisces Venus, Mars Aries, all conjunct each other in the 8th. I have no idea what that means to death.

I'm not too familiar with it yet, though I know of a book called The Astrology of Death by Richard Houke. He focuses on Indian and Modern Western Astrology though, at least from my understanding. I'd love to see a book like this focusing on Western Traditional, but I'm not holding my breath for something specific as it just yet. You might find more information about this kind of thing by visiting local metaphysical libraries, and/or reading through literature on traditional astrology (granted, I do think the outer planets are not without importance, but Modern seems to be in a bit of a mess at the moment, unless perhaps you count the Uranian and Cosmobiology schools).

I read an interesting blog a few months ago that said that hints can be found by looking at where the ruler of the 8th house is in the chart.

I mean it is save to say that we're ALL going to die so in that respect that means you to! 

And as for the 8th house/death relationship, isn't it supposed to be taken metaphorically? Death in the sense of constant transformations rebirth and what not? I'm just taking a guess like y'all are. As for myself I have a chart ruler (moon) in the 8.  

Saturn in the 8th means you might live a long life, but there are other factors (certainly there are others out there who reached their hundreds without that placement). The rest of what is on your natal chart, current transits and progressions are also important. Sadly, I do not have the books I need with me for this kind of thing, but I know of an astrologer who does, even though he doesn't specialize in this type of thing. I'll bug him about it next time I bump in to him.

I have Mars in the 8th.

I think that means a man is going to kill me violently, possibly over money or business matters since it's in Capricorn. I did have a nightmare once to that effect. The worst part was that, in the dream, I was raped and THEN killed by the man. Even for a dream, that was awful. I woke up screaming and covered in sweat, didn't sleep for a couple nights. :(

I thought Saturn in the eighth just meant that you frown during sex.

 I have saturn and Bacchus in my 8th house. I'll drink and worry myself to death, I guess. Ha. That's a strong possibility. I have no self-restraint, (Aries-sun) and I intensely enjoy alcohol. (Scorpio-moon) With a Rising Cancer I'm also a huge worrier.

Kate-o, someone I know just died.  I don't know the time of her death but her chart had Chiron exactly square her Venus; Pluto square her Chiron and Saturn opposite her Chiron.  She was only 39 and has a 7yr old daughter...

The first half of my 8th house is Libra and the second half is Scorpio.
