As her sister I want to thank her for being a good sister. For keeping my secrets, caring about my pain every time, for knowing what to say when I am in a crisis and for being there every time. As an astrologer she is uber talented and very quick at it too. I don't know a person who knows a chart better and I don't say this because she is my sister.  Thank you Elsa.

What do I love about Elsa?

She's down-to-earth and doesn't spout a bunch of psychobabble woo-woo bullshit like some other astrologers I've read.

She doesn't suffer fools gladly. If people go after each other on the boards, she steps in and handles it with no nonsense. Even with everything else she has to deal outside of the boards.

There's a lot of diversity on the boards which I really appreciate. The vibe is really nice here. 11th house Uranus approves.

I appreciate Elsa's integrity, work ethic, sense of humor, expertise, and most of all her .

Long time lurker here who finally decided to take the plunge and start contributing on the boards. I just love this place. It's the only message board that I feel comfortable enough to post on, which is a testament to the hostess. :)

Elsa's awesome, wise and tough.

 Her Patience, Her Help, Her Un-erring advice, Her 'tough love', Her quick wit & sense of humor.   But most of all, just the fact that she is there and Herself and willing to share that with all of us.  I really appreciate that about her.  I never feel that she needs to apologize or defend herself, for being who she is, she has the right to be herself just like everyone else.
Stay calm, you'll see the door or window soon, find peace will you wait for it to show up :)

During consults, Elsa will get in the trenches and hand you a shovel (her wisdom and straight forwardness). I've been in some hopeless places and used Elsa's advice as a shovel to dig my ass out. I will always be thankful for that.  I appeciate you immensely Elsa : )

I was heading out the door with 1st truckload of stuff for my new home , and decided to check the boards.

** I'm so thankful that she "puts up with" this very opinionated & rambunctious Scorpio..... although the metaphorical hook she uses to remind me to tone it down is loving applied from time to time.

I think what I most admire about Elsa is that she "knows when to hold 'em, and knows when to fold 'em." She is at once both classy and earthy and her wisdom is beyond measure.

I'm truly grateful for the help she's given me, and ever-astonished by the way she can encapsule a complex situation into just a few words and hit it right on the mark.

Most of all, she manages to accomplish all of us without the use of leopard print! Wow! What's not to admire?

You are a fearless, direct, wise helper.  You gave me the jolt I needed when you recently gave me a reading.  I shared my notes from the phone consult with the Sag therapist and she was apalled at the directness and said it wasn't therapy but old fashined good advice giving.  I told her that's what I needed to spur me into action and she agreed.  Of course we did spend over an hour or so about how we agreed and what my action plan would be, but I needed your lightning bolt jolt in the first place.  You are great and it is easy to care for you because you are also human and you acknowledge that.  You are doing great work here, Elsa!  Thank you.

My favorite thing about this site is that people of all creeds/viewpoints/lifestyles/backgrounds gather here civilly.  

My favorite thing about Elsa is that Mars-Mercury straight talking thing.  And if she has to deliver hard news (or, in my case, kick your ass a little) she does it with as much compassion as anyone could possibly have.

(amusing aside:  Elsa sounds a lot like MMTS's mother in interviews.  It's kind of cool, to me.)

Nobody has mentioned The Italian Awesomeness yet?  Elsa, you truly have the most fabulous hair, and although I've never had the pleasure to taste your braciole, I know they compare to those made by my Ex-MIL just by reading that thread.

Also, I can never ever strech how in awe I am with your skill to see what's essential in any question presented to you, come up with a solution that may not be the easiest one and present it in a way that will encourage the reader to go there and do that.

I would thank Elsa for

          -   creating and maintaining such a great website!

          -   for allowing her visitors to have such freedom posting on her site.   All kinds of topics are allowed to be posted, and I think she enjoys seeing the debates (doesn't always agree with them, which she surely makes known, but that is part of her charm!) 

        -   I would emphasis the maintenance part of the website again.   As many know and have stated on forums  - other forums are a wasteland of trash talk, etc.   Elsa's dutiful maintenance is why this place is different and a place for civil discussion and exchange of ideas.

       - sharing her insight and perspective, its what helps get us thinking and posting.

Yes, I was going to shout Mars/Mercury too! But being the Mercurial Libran I am, had to make it a full paragraph.

She tells it as it is and doesn't pussy foot around.

Also she's very efficient and passionate about what she believes in.

1) clear-cut honesty

2) Her willingness to get down into the muck. She's never afraid of revealing the nitty gritty of what resides under the facades. Not afraid of looking into the dark side of us all and still willing to stick around

3) Her perseverance; undiminishing resilience

4) Her loyalty to those she loves and cares for

5) She knows that many project their own fear/repulsion of their own darkness on her but she still keeps on going.

You've created a space where people have the opportunity to "meet in the middle".  You walk your talk.  By questioning things that are within yourself, your life, by confronting those things, you show others how to do the same. 

I don't have the right words right now, and even if I did they would come out wrong.  I'll just say Thank You!  I appreciate this site so much, along with your's and Satori's wisdom and everyone elses that post here.  I'd really be lost without my daily fix.

What I like about Elsa is most of what's stated above .... also  i feel her warmth kindness intelligience and if u want/need it straight she'll give  it  to you both barrels  ,then an aspirin  lol,love  her gift of story telling as much as her gift with the planets and stars .....she's an original ...I dig originals I appreciate her and her site

...oh and another thing ...her love of the young and her elders  and the four footed furries ....love  the  doggy post!!
