"Although many failed I must now prevail with no question
    Have no time to stop
Onward to the top of the mountain
And I can't turn back now
It's so very high but I can't turn back now
If I keep it up, I'm gonna make it..."

Lupa--Love Santana!  That was my dad's favorite when I was growing up.  We did a lot of traveling when I was a kid and my dad didn't like flying much (can we say MAJOR Capricorn here, he loved to travel on ground to see the same old sites over and over, haha) but he always had Santana in the cassette deck.  And Madrill, has anyone heard of them?

Sorry off topic, but my father and I haven't always been close, music is the ONE thing that we shared and I get really sentimental when I hear music that reminds me of him.

shell! I have a thing for 70's music too as far as the Isley Brothers go, I think "Between the Sheets" is great!

I've followed No Doubt since I was 12, and have been attempting to keep up with all the tour happenings. I'm trying to get out to San Fran to see ND with a friend who's been saving me a ticket since March (lawn, grr... but hey what can you do! Tix sold quick!) It would be our first time seeing them in concert - July 25th - if we can pull it off! (I live a bit north of Seattle lol)

I'm so excited and glad to hear they still rock!

Yes!  Between the Sheets"...oh yes.  I also like "Voyage to Atlantis" a whole lot.

Hey, we had lawn seats too, I wasn't thrilled about it but the weather was perfect and it ended up being really nice being on the lawn.  They did an awesome Ska version of "Excuse Me"...loooooved it.  I won't spill anymore beans about the concert so you can be pleasantly surprised =)

    What a fun thread Kash!

Jackie Blue, Ozark Mountain Daredevils. A song from 1974-1975.

    Ooh, Jackie Blue

Lives her life from inside of her room

hides a smile when she's wearing a frown

Ooh, Jackie you're not so down.

The song is about a girl who lives in her own head.

Hey Scorpios, what about Lovage Sex As or Strangers on A Train?  Okay, the entire Lovage album is a Scorpio album.  Also the Portishead album Dummy.  Also Mulatu Astatke, whose music sounds like it should be the soundtrack for a The Pink Panther album.

Hey Cancers/Libras what about Pancakes For One http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JljnYBTD_94 the pancakes for Cancers, the being alone without a partner for Libras.

For Virgos, dead prez's be healthy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTAhSJt_8x8

they are all about being socially conscious as is Nas, the Virgo Illmatic is a very socially conscious album.

I can't think of anything for Aquarius Rising, for me.
