This kitty has been found. No tags. Very friendly. Does not want to leave the house. The boys are going door to door now.

well, he does look alot like my cat Patrick but I don't know how Patrick could have gotten from Toronto to Colorado in the last hour! haha!

Looks like he's well fed and clean, so I'm sure they'll find his home.  He might be an indoor cat and just got out and that's why he's leery of leaving the house.

Luck, yes and no. They did not find the owner. They did find a woman who said she had kept the cat for 2 days waiting for signs to go up or something.  She let the cat out and it took off.  She told them to check some more houses and if they could not find the cat's owner, she would look after the cat some more since they had dogs and one of their mothers (me) is allergic.  She also invited them in and offered them ginger ale.  So now the cat is with her, and we're all 4 hoping to see signs go up.  It is a really sweet cat. I hate to think it was dumped. :(

I hope the woman can find the owner, as I agree - I would hate to think somebody threw this kitty out like trash. 

He's too fat to have been dumped! If he was like my kitty, he is too damn friendly for his own good and got led astray, LOL.

I've been known to take in a stray cat, only to find out a few days later that it was from around the corner.

It's more likely that this kitty is an indoor cat who ran outside, ran too far, and got lost.

My late big fat gray guy tried to run out any chance he could get.

He couldn't have been gone from home more than a day or two.  He's clean and fat!

Hope he finds a home, whether his owner finds him or the lady keeps him.

There are no signs anywhere. No we have all this snow so I don't know. The kitty was completely pleasant. I can't imagine he/she was dumped but maybe.

Around here, we call the vet when a stray animal shows.  Our local vets keep postings for people that have lost their animals. The staff knows the patients, too.  My vet keeps photos of patients on the computerized records.  This cat looks like a Bengal.  It looks healthy enough to have its own vet.

I'm impressed with the young men's efforts to find the cat's home.
