Do You Think You Ask For Too Much In Life? What Do You Want To Have?

I don't think I want TOO much from life. My life has never been a life of luxury but I've always had a home, I've always had food to eat, loving people in my life, etc. Firstly, I would like for these things to continue as a LOT of people in this world who aren't worse or less deserving than me don't have these things.
I want to be able to be fulfilled through work and be able to provide for my family.
I want to be a good mother and help guide, love, teach my son to follow his heart and follow the path the universe has intended for him.
I want to be a better wife.
I want to experience the beauty on this earth. I think for the most part I've lived a life sheltered from the atrocities of this world and it pains my heart greatly to think of them but no matter what, I always want to be able to see the good in this world.
Those all sound like things you can DEFINITELY do, Ad Astra--and I won't be surprised if you can achieve the bulk of 'em pretty damn quick, too. I'm sending positive, supporting crimson Scorpio vibes your way!!)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))!
nutsy, it's an interesting question. My husband prays every day (to Joan of Arc in this case, specifically). He asks for big things, really huge. They are so big he doesn't know if she can get this stuff done or what. He surely doesn't expect it to be quick.
I know this is a little bit different because he's praying for things that are outside himself but it's the scale. I thought it was interesting he prayed for huge things and I think it's very reasonable for you to wish for whatever you want. "A lot" is relative, basically.
Hey, ask and you shall receive right? (If God decides it's right for your spirit, according to my mom, lol).
I think my wishes are reasonable. I want a husband and a good job and money to be able to have a house and raise kids and pay my bills and travel and such. Enough dough to live very comfortably :)
I think I can get it. If I don't, it won't be for lack of striving.

There are some people in the world who want to rule with complete domination. THAT, I believe, is asking for too much of themselves (as well as from those that they expect to rule).
But for someone like me and many others, I don't think we ask for much--and I'm not talking about world domination or anything.
In my respect, I think my demands are not many, some perhaps far-fetched, but I don't think I ask for too much:
To be a published writer, writing full-time for the rest of my days. (Winning a lottery that would gain me the money to support such a living would allow me all the time I desired to fuflill the writing part--I believe that I'll eventually find the right agent for my works, too)
To live in my own place (apartment/condo/house) by my own means.
Occupying ALL of my time the way I prefer doing it.
Going to Disneyland any time of day, any day of the year, until I'm dead.
Find and adore the beautiful woman I seek with my soul--I KNOW she's out there, somewhere, and destiny will pull us together.
And, of course, gaining a fortune--either by the lottery, my writing, or other LEGAL means. :)
Those are my largest desires, at this point, for myself... And, seriously, that's not asking for much--some people have way more than that already.
