I was out and about this morning and stopped at a flea market. Some people were walking about with dogs on a leash, one vendor had their dog tied to a tree.

What I noticed is that every dog made serious eye contact with me, seeming to really be aware of my presence in the crowd, in a friendly way.

Now I have noticed this before - dogs love me. There a notoriously shy dog that a co-worker brings to work, who won't let hardly anyone touch him. But from day one he took a big shine to me. his owner was dumb founded. It might be because I immediately gave him (the dog, not the owner) a huge bear hug and noogie before he could react and get away. He is a huge forbidding looking dog so I bet he never gets that! He comes and visits me in my office every day first thing when he gets there. Now I did give him a saltine cracker the first time he wandered in, so maybe he has a lonnng ass memory when it comes to food, cause I don't normally and he still visits. Ever hopeful, perhaps.

I was so struck by the behavior of the dogs I encountered that I looked up "dogs" in The Rulership Book by Rex E Bills. They are ruled by Mercury, Virgo, the 6th house and Jupiter.

I have nothing in the 6th house, but I do have major Sagittarius and Virgo and a prominent Mercury. IHas anyone else had this thing with dogs and if it has this astro-flavor?

Funny enough, in crowds I also seem to attract the homeless, drunk or delusional types as well. But I think thats from Neptune on the MC.

I noticed this too Vajra. I am a Sagittarius and this huge white dog that looked like a wolf came to me once and we became friends!

I think dogs are attracted to Jupiter types (Sags/Jupiter/9th house) because Sagittarian energy is universal and jovial. 

Vajra, I also agree with you on the Neptune on the MC thing. Though I don't have Neptune in MC, I have Pisces Ascendant and I notice "delusional" and "criminal" types are attracted to me.
