 Very happy for you. One of my greatest joys in marriage was to have a "band", this tangible symbol of my union to another. I never removed it for any reason and it eventually felt like it had grown from my finger. A man should wear his wedding band at all times.

How long did it take you to pick them out? I bet you got gold ones.

It took us about 3 minutes. And yes... bands of gold for the song. His is plain yellow gold, mine is white gold with very minor embellishment. I wanted something understated that would not bother me because er... oh, it's a long story.  Yesterday was one of the best days of my life, it is kind hard to explain what it feels like to put something right after 30 years.

We have decided on a wedding date now too and a honeymoon / party some months later.
