Food preferences relative to one's sign
posted 3 years ago in General
Whenever I cook (Cancer Moon), my food needs to have a zing to it - which means... SPICE! Black pepper or anything spicy (chili powder, red pepper flakes, etc) is a staple in my dishes. No wonder I have acid reflux (I had to tone down the spice significantly)! Before acid reflux, however... You can give me ANYTHING spicy and I'll eat it ;)
I also have a hopeless addiction to sugar and carbs - specifically anything that comes in the form of rice, pasta or ice cream. Nom nom nom.
I'm a double Aries (Asc and Sun). That explains the love for spicy entrees. :)
I have lots of Leo, and I go absolutely gaga for all citrus. They're sunny and bright, just like Leo.
I also dig spicy (must be a fire thing), and I find that Indian food suits me perfectly. It mixes the spice of my Leo with the decadence that my Taurus Rising loves so much.
Also, holy thread resurrection, Batman!
Well, I just like food :)
IF it was healthy and I never gained any weight from it, I'd eat a lot of comfort food: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, big dessert.... mmmm that's my ideal....
Instead I'm eating healthy (healthier) ugh. Fruits, vegs, limit the fried stuff, limit the baked good, limit the sugar... and so on.... grains, some meat... trying to eat what my body doesn't reject i.e. listening to my body. My fave foods actually give me stomach aches so I always have to be.... aware of what goes into my body
Cancerian types probably put on weight easily and for sure Cancer/Virgo types have digestive issues....

Food preference is a moon thing. I've got moon conj. Mercury so I like to write about my food. http://notasnoms.wordpress.com/
Its in scorpio, so no meat please, fear tastes bad.
Moon in Sag (conj Neptune) - I wanna try EVERYTHING, preferably while I'm traveling or pretending to. I'm in LA now and I've gone pretty native. I am happier at a taco truck than at some fancy inauthentic fusion-mex-funky-whatever. Damn it, it took me almost a year to get the hang of eating them without the sauce running down my elbow. *chuckle*

I haven't found much on the Internet about how one's astrological configuration affects either one's food preferences or maybe more importantly what food groups they should be eating. I realize a healthy diet is independent of one's chart however wonder if certain food groups/types are better for certain signs.
Does anyone have info on this or perhaps an opinion/experience?
Thanks.
