It's my Dad's bday today...on another thread a while ago I mentioned it, and Jessica mentioned she shared the same bday.

Happy Birthday to Kash's Dad!  You are very lucky to be able to celebrate with him!  

I miss celebrating my Dad's birthday.  We were the only two Leos in the family.  Now it's just me - my Dad was an uber-Leo.  He had sun, mercury, venus, jupiter, and uranus in Leo.  He was stubborn, proud, and loved to sing for everyone!!  He would break out into song almost anywhere - his all-time favorite was to sing "When your smiling, the whole world smiles with you".  We were able to put those words on his gravestone - so he is still bringing smiles in heaven

Funny, couldn't care less about getting older, though I do find I am getting crankier and less patient. Maybe my Pisces moon in the 6th and various Virgo has had enough of being walked on. Weird that I had to get older to feel entiltled to boundaries.

Oh kashmiri!!!!!!!!!  Thank you and everyone for the birthday wishes!  I was traveling with very sporadic Internet, but I'm so happy for the birthday remembrance and hope your dad had a great one.

oooooooh dreaming of mexico....where did you go?

Kash, I was only in Mexico City for work.  I stayed the weekend for vacation, because by an odd series of coincidences it was a) my birthday b) my son was staying with his dad c) my sister lives in Mex. City right now and d) my boyfriend was able to come down and stay the weekend.  Yay!  Mexico City is a c.f. of extreme traffic and pollution, but we were able to see some really neat sights and eat some good food and have fun.  I had been in the past, but never stayed as long.

Now, let's dream about this!

Betcha can't guess my birthday?! (Captain Obvious) Daughter and SIL took me out for dinner Sat. night, and I got to have profiteroles (which none of us could pronounce).
