Here's some black eyed peas for all y'all.  Oh and a helping of greens, candied yams and corn bread for good measure.  Hope everyone has a great year!

 I made vegetarian Posole with a LOT of hominy!!

I vassilated about putting BEPs in it, and opted for pintos. So thanks for the black eyed peas Notatriem!  I needed dem to know my new year would be OK!!!

Miss, I had crab, too! And homemade smoked salmon from Northern BC, scallops, cheese, scottish oatcakes, jalapenos, dates stuffed with blue cheese, morroccan lentil salad (we were a very multi-cultural crew last night)...Today I went to the same Vietnamese restaurant TWICE. And I got some serious love.

hey chami, just so you know everything on that plate is vegetarian, so eat up its karma free.

Hubby made shrimp with pasta, and his home-made sauce.  It was delicious, as always.

That meal up there looks delish - I love candied yams!  And that home-made corn-bread looks to die for.......
