And if so, why do you think this is?

Nope. Some people's blogs...I check back day after day and...nothing.

I've noticed that some of the people I've read seemed to drop off entirely. I was astro blogging as much as I was able but recently (last week) I erased my entire blog. Only 220 posts but that was a fair bit of work considering I have Mercury in Taurus.

I started posting on the same (empty) blog but with my artwork instead.

For me I wanted a clean slate. I was writing during an incredibly painful time and it was also a new form, seeing I used to write in journals and let that go. Plus I have Mars in my 4th opposing Pluto in my 10th so I like to burn a place to the ground before I start again. Ha ha ha.

Maybe it has something to do with Pluto changing signs?

I wonder also if it has to do with Pluto in Capricorn and people expressing a desire to have their creative output valuable ie. getting paid. I can appreciate that. I see it at art school too...one gal just told me she's quitting after the year's done and that "It's a pipe dream, no one will make money."

I think creative output is so valuable...vision has to take root and if the end game (money, I guess, don't ask me I'm useless at envisioning the future) is the ONLY thing focussed on it's kind of...fucked.

I noticed this because historically there have been TONS of posts for the new moon and this time, very few.

I've been flat and uninspiried, but I just thought it was Saturn transiting my moon/pluto etc. Not depressed though, just kinda "whatever". Maybe it isn't just me. Maybe the bloggers are feeling the same way. I know I have gained weight eventhough I'm watching what I eat and exercising.

Fine I'll just grow the best muffin top anyone ever seen! LOL

I think this happens with blogs in general. I think the news that blogs made money created a big burst of blogs and then people realized what the job entails- basically, a natural affinity for it and a connection to an audience that demands things daily-and some just dissipated. I know this from personal experience since I've started blogs and then gotten tired of the pressure and too lazy for them. Now I just have a personal one so if it grows, it's organic...blogs seemed like easy money for a bit with all the media talking about them that way--now I think you tube channels will be the next big thing in online money making...so yeah, my theory is that they probably set out to make profit from them (not a bad thing-just saying), and then they realized blogs take more energy than just sitting there writing--it just has to come naturally or you get pooped.

With this new moon in Pisces they might be sleeping, but other than that I agree with Sonah22 in that most bloggers start full of enthusiasm but they're not able (or not willing) to keep it flowing. I knew this in advance and that's why I never started a blog myself, but rather participate in your blog, Elsa. In the -Aquarian- end, it's about the community sharing their experiences, knowledge and ideas, and not about me and my blog.

Confession:  I read this blog pretty much exclusively.

Confession: I only participate in this blog and in mercola.com, which is about health and alternative medicine. But this blog, Elsa, is a beautiful journey through the realm of human emotions and reflections, and I especially like your amazing imagery - thank you so much for keeping it alive!

Everyone is blogging less, not just astrologers. I run a silly links blog and it is very hard to find anyone talking about anything to post about. I am trying to keep up the posts to make people laugh rather than DOOM AND GLOOM, but it's hard to even find any because people are so DOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED right now.

And I gather in the case of astrologers people are asking, "Is there any hope of this getting better any time soon?" and the astrologers all have to say, "No, it only gets worse from here on in...better is a long time coming." Who wants to say that on repeat a lot, I guess.
