    The saga continues...

So, the drama surrounding my divorce is still unfolding, even 5000 miles away. I found out via facebook that my soon to be ex could be seeing a new girl. I don't how to feel about this. I confronted him about it and he denied it. I was stunned and depressed over it all weekend. No, I should not be intruding, knowing that we are split up, but we talk all the time and have been flirty with each other...which is bad.

So now, I am done. Done with everything concerning this saga. I have erased him from everything, even my facebook. I'm done. Eventhough I still love him, and would feel jealous and sad if he found love again, I must let go and move on.

What I would like to know is, will I be okay...??? I am having a hard time uploading my birthchart, so I will just give some info:

Actually I needed to bump it down past the sidebar, take two and sorry for the confusion.  I tried to make that one above smaller, but the site doesn't seem to like that idea.  Anyway, here you go CityGirl!  And good luck.  I'll check back later with my thoughts.

I second opal on this one.  You WILL be okay, no matter the astrology.  ((((citygirl))))

((Citygirl))), so sorry you are going through so much pain with this but you are headed in the right direction. You will feel better as time goes by and being "done with it" will make you stronger. I am going through a separation and trying to get over someone I thought was going to be a love interest but it didn't pan out. I imagine that your ex may be flirting since he is out of the picture now, but it may not be serious. If he is feeling lonely, he may just be looking to get attention anyway he can. Hang in there and take care of yourself.

I know this feeling. This is why I prefer my exes don't exist to me and cut them out of my life with a clean break once it's truly over. I don't need to find out what they're up to; only to pour salt in the wound and hurt more.

So, a couple things while I have a break.

Will you be OK?  Damn straight you will.  You know why? Because you keep taking stock and trying to guide the ship to the right course.  I don't see you flailing around helplessly, but working to fix what you perceive to be wrong.  I don't think that is something you should discount.

Divorce, by the way, can suck hard even when it's mutually agreed upon and legally amicable.  I know this by way of experience, and my divorce couldn't have been simpler legally.  But years later, I was still untangling the strings.  Ten years later I still trip across things that I know are affected by that experience.  I was also near my Saturn return when I split from my ex husband, so maybe I can offer a little balm for you on this.  Again, Voice of Experience (TM)

It gets better.  Time helps.  Therapy may help once you get a little distance and can use the tools it gives you.  Cut yourself a little break - this isn't a short process, ok?  As long as you're working through it, you're fine.  In the meanwhile, I think you're doing the right thing by cutting contact for a while.  It's hard, I know, especially when it's someone you love.  And you do love him, or at least you did, because if not this wouldn't hurt.  At some point in the future you may or may not find a way to be amicable, but right now take whatever space you need and take care of you, because you are the only one who can.

And there are people around who care and are willing to listen if you want to vent.  Like, you know, here.

Maybe someone else can speak to the astrology of it   I can only speak to the experience, as it feels very similar my own.
