How come (virtually) all the men around here are Scorpios?

Got a theory?  I'd say 80% of the men who post here are Scorpio...Suns.

Yeah, the Scorpio Moons have always dominated but they lurk these days (which pisses me off).  They (as a group) used to be a lot more helpful.

Sasstrology closing their board ought to be a heads up to people. We'll see.

Umm, because they are watery, which ime means they have a strong ability to understand the range of human emotions in others, and their own, and not be afraid of them. And they are fixed water, which lends a certain amount of stability to the boards.

    Just my thoughts from a 7th house Scorp, Venus/Pluto perspective. : )

As for the Scorp guys...I dunno why/what brought them here. But I'm sure glad of it. I like that the boards have a good number of guys who post often. It adds a perspective and camaraderie that isn't so present (or evident in any case) in other online spaces.

Because first, Scorpio Men are interested in finding a deeper meaning to life & the "alternative" (Astrology & the like) & second, they love watching from a distance & sussing out the way peoples minds, (err... dare I say particularly Womens minds), work.

In delving into Astrology, they find elsaelsa & there are a lot of Women here, who are intelligent, experienced & switched on. It's a bonus that there is much discussion regarding relationships & the Human Condition.

    Perfect recipe! wink

It's because you defend Scorpios and try and clear up the misconceptions and we say "Hey, she is onto something..."

    My perception at least :)

@Anzi, you just reminded me:  one of my Scorpio lovers had a couple of scorpio(n) tats (the symbol and the scorpion, just in case someone didn't get the hint *grins*) and he used to get SO. MAD! at me when I'd point out that his scorpion tat looked a lot like a cock.  :P  It was all in the shape of the head, man...  *laughs and ducks*

Well, it did!!  *prim look*  :P

In my experience most guys frown on astrology because its not hip anymore. Maybe it was in the 60s. Its generational maybe, but generally these days any kind of perceived adherence to a doctrine is a social no-no because it makes you look presumptuous (how could you presume to know something like that is true), narrow-minded or just plain kooky (New-Agey; most guys are trying to be lads not snags, because thats what women looking for sex want).

So maybe Scorp men are the most willing to openly confess an interest in astrology; theyre deep-rollers, not shallow-rollers like Hannibal Lecter said of Agent Starling, and least likely to apologize for looking to the study of the undercurrents of life.

I personally love the depth of all the members here, whatever sign, Scorps do have great insights in my opinion. I enjoy their depth.

@Elsa - Scorp moons are lurking offline, too. I've waited almost two weeks to hear back from a good friend with that silent placement. Errr.

My Scorpio moon has been holding my Gemini tongue hostage for ages.  Haven't even been able to post inane chatter on facebook til recently.  Was radio silence for months, except for secret blogs and heavily filtered posts.  I thought about creating an alter ego so I could contribute and join in the conversation but I'm not good at pretending so I couldn't really see the point.

Probably yes, because there are women but it's more than that because not all of the Scorpio men are into women.  I think it's because there are women who don't attack men.  When that happens, when a vicious woman shows up and attacks men or other women, she is called out or in extreme cases asked to leave.  This is a safe space.  I think that is rare in general and particularly rare for men who are energetically sensitive.

Must be that Pluto is sextiling my Scorpion Moon which natally Squares my Sun.

Ergo, I found Elsa because I'm trying to make up for the time that I blocked all of my feelings. Leading to much pent up/misunderstood emotions that I've found that ain't so bad whn the Sun has a face-to-face with the Moon(Funny Moon face joke embedded in there, for the sub-textually inhibited).

Maybe the attraction to taboo and a predominately female board is both taboo and attractive? Also the opportunity to research/probe the female perspective.

@Lupa,  I think you are right about it being a safe place for men who are "energetically sensitive"  Glad you are back Lupa:)

It's really weird that in my offline life I rarely encounter another Scorpio.  I work in a restaurant with a huge staff and I am the only Scorp.  No other Scorpio in my family or amoung my friends either.  So it is nice for me to see Scorpio so well represented here.

Yes, I've always found it curious as I would have thought they would be the last zodiac sign to do so.

At first I had no idea that this board was mostly female but the cricket sound on my postings unscore that fact.
