How did everybody's first Saturn in Libra day go?
posted 2 years ago in General
It's a quarter after five where I am, and I'm beat, but it's been a good day. Up at 6am to work out. Absolutely insane at the office, barking orders left and right, putting out fires. Met a nice person today, has possibilities.
Some things were frustrating, but I chalk that up to Mars on my Moon, squaring my Saturn. Easy come, easy go.
If every day is going to be like this, I'm going to have to eat my Wheaties.
You other early cardinals, you still intact?
Shitty.
I'd tell the story but I would rather just go sit in a bathtub. I think that's what i am going to do.
Well - I sat in traffic this morning...and its not so much what happened to me, but more what I felt was going on around me, if that makes sense.
There was some shooting early in the morning near a synagogue that I heard about, which caused a lot of traffic; I logged in to my boss's computer to check his email (he's away on a trip) and saw his computer had the trojan virus; and my co-worker came up to me this morning telling me how she was so upset because she had gotten a traffic ticket for making the wrong turn.
So I kind of felt like things were happening and I thought to myself - how would have I reacted had I not known what's happening astral-wise, and also it gave me a chance to decide that "this is just a flow - it will always be up or down, or in between - just feel it and continue, somehow stay centered, don't let it throw you out of your boat".
Jessica, I feel the same way. Saturn and pluto are sitting on my angles. Saturn is conjunct my asc and opposing my sun which is getting the square from my pluto conj IC as well. This is killer. I have been gearing up for a few days and got back from New York earlier this week knowing that things were going to happen. I am glad I got a pleasant vacation beforehand.
Today has just been plain depressing. My boyfriend and I are in a weird state and my best friend's boyfriend verbally attacked me for no reason about an hour ago. Not a good day. I'm hiding. Something tells me that in a week everything is going to be different.
As far as people around me goes... well, there have been two suicides within' the week. Another is moving and there are some other things going on. It has been a crazy week. I am writing this in the midst of insanity as. we. speak! Pluto and Saturn are just eating up my life at the moment.

love to you, to the heavens and back
Well, I came back to read this thread again, more slowly this time. Saw Toni's most about her dad and wanted to say congrats - and... then I saw Jilly's post.
God, Jilly. I am so sorry. My words can't possibly mean anything to you right now, but I will leave them for you anyway. I hope that you have loved ones supporting and comforting you now. I hope that your mom did not suffer.
She's in a better place. Take care of yourself. I'm really not good at this. If I knew you and were near you, I would clean your house and bake you a casserole and stand by for further instruction.
Take care of (((Jilly))).
Thanks everyone. I'm OK - I'm glad my mom isn't suffering anymore. The universe sure has been kicking my ass lately though.
What mother & daughter didn't have a complicated relationship? but we mostly got along. She was peppery and hilarious - grateful for my family's sense of humor.
My sister is driving here right now & we're going to hang out together this weekend.
xoxo
{{Jilly}} I'm so sorry.
My day was frustrating. Follow up visit with the rheumatologist revealed that I am perfectly healthy. There is no discernible explanation for my recurring pain issues. I am grateful that the blood work keeps ruling out really terrible possibilities. I really really wanted a word to say when people ask what's up with me. I wanted to be able to explain why I sometimes don't feel great. A plan for avoiding or dealing with flare ups would have been encouraging.
I feel guilty for complaining about good health. Maybe when we get our Saturn in Virgo refresher course I'll get some answers.
Yes Bananas. I have tendonitis in both arms from my job that is constant, a bit of arthritis in knees and feet, and generalized achey pain that is sometimes quite mild and sometimes flares up and leaves me feeling like I've been beaten up. I've been dealing with various forms of the same kind of symptoms for more than a decade.
I hate talking about it, thinking about it, complaining. I've pushed myself in the last several months to get doctors to listen and although the most recent doctor was very kind and seemed genuinely caring, there are no answers to be had right now. He wants me to come back in four months.
I may have mentioned this before but I'm into holistic health. if you're not, feel free to disregard.
I've read on http://dherbs.com that arthritis and similar pain is caused by inflammation which is exacerbated by fat intake - consumption of animal products, the hormones in the meat, the toxins that collect when our fat cells expand, and so forth.
I went on the semi dherbs female detox (bought one of the kits) and did a "mostly vegetarian with a little bit of meat because I can't function without meat"... and a lot of my achiness went away.
I also lost weight, had more energy, started pooping better, balanced my hormones, and a whole lot of other great stuff.
Lupa: if it's a fibromyalgia type pain its epidemic now. I had the same problem and was sent to a rhematologist and they could not find anything wrong. After much reflection I decided to google: ascension symptoms, and it seems that muscle pain or a fibromyalgia type pain, is one of the symptoms. I suggest you read up on ascension symptoms. There is a myriad of symptoms regarding ascension. We are going from one dimension to another and time and the vibrational energies of the planet are coming to a crescendo or climax <===love that word!

Does anyone know how Saturn in Libra will affect those with Libra on the descendent?
How about having Mercury in Libra?
Thank you Bananas. I appreciate the information. I don't do well on a vegetarian diet but I have made some changes to my diet and could do more to improve my overall health by improving it more.
Mimi, I don't doubt that there is an energetic component to most if not all disease.
Lupa - I don't do well on a veg diet either but what I did was modify this guy's suggestion.
He recommended eating a diet of fresh fruits and vegetables, beans and whole grains, and nothing else.
I added yogurt to that (so if I was having lentils and beans I'd eat some plain yogurt with it - otherwise I'd start to feel very "off").
I would also do small amount of chicken and fish every so often, along with my bean and vegetable gruels that I was eating.
Lupa, do you do yoga? Yoga is wonderful for aches and pains from repititious work.. I do Hatha yoga now for my back and hip aches from sitting all day. Started with Hot yoga which I'd totally recommend - it also helps with cutting cravings etc..
The only thing I don't recommend is doing it half way - finding a good 1.5 hr class with someone who has a good blend of the athleticism and the meditative works best. Some teachers out there are way too mild and think it's just about telling people how to move rather than teaching and really encouraging people to stretch and stick with it to get the most out of it.
Anyway.. yoga.. do it! your body will thank you. Yin yoga is good for deep tissue work. And is something i'm going to start doing on my own. Basically relaxing into certain poses. RELAXING to work out lol. Has my name written all over it! :)
Liz- thanks for the reminder. Yoga feels great, when I remember to do it.
I tried kundalini yoga on the recommendation of one of my clients. Pant like a dog... whip your head back and forth... that shit is crazy!
I only did it twice though, because I read that some people mess with their chakras too much and go crazy.
(basically this type of yoga pulls energy up the spinal cord - it brings the crotch energy up to the head - the crown chakra).
I don't know, maybe I'll try it again. If not, definitely regular yoga.
Youtube always has good instructionals.
First day of Saturn in Libra brought a message from my ISP about Fairpoint Communications declaring bankruptcy on Oct 26. They own the local landline phone company that provides the DSL equipment. I live in a rural area and neither wireless nor cable are an option. Just have my fingers crossed the DSL equipment will hang together long enough for some other viable broadband option to make it out this far. Otherwise it will be back to dialup [HORRORS!!] ![]()
{{{{{{Jilly}}}}}}} Losing your mom is tough. Mine died March 2007 and while she was more than ready to go, those of us who are still here miss her. She was a Libra too and I'm sure she is delighted to see how her passing has brought her children closer together again. I learned to value my siblings, particularly my sisters, much more.
