How do you SHOW love to 6th house Venus people???
posted 3 months ago in Beginners
I have Venus in Taurus in the 6th .. and I show my love for people by doing those things too .. cooking, dishes, making sure they have wine first, or giving them the nicest bits of whatever we are eating.
So to answer your question... You can show him love, by just letting him do those things that he does.. its wonderful to be with someone who just lets you be what you are.
Oh.. and subtly letting him know that you notice.. that would probably give him cause for an inner smile too.
Yeh your ideas are good!
I have a 6th house Venus ![]()
Do little Virgo-related things for him...
Buy him a beautiful new filing system so that he can reorganize his files (financial files especially) and purge the ones that are no longer useful by throwing them out! :-) (Virgo/6th house people are pleased by efficiency and things that are in order, plus they like to purge once in a while, and a gift like this coming from a loved one and partner relates to Venus).
Show him you appreciate the effort and just be there consistently. Or maybe give him a nicely framed photo of the two of you. 6th house Taurus Venus here too.
Gush over it. Be very appreciative of every little thing he does, *notice* he is loving you.
In my experience: don't try to out-Virgo the Virgo. This is his *arena*. It's like when a virgo employee goes work for a micromanager. They exhaust themselves trying to outperfect the perfect, and then they get pissed. Which is not a pretty sight to see. Especially if you've been depending on them for anything for any reason.
I think you should try something a little more seductive instead. Earth sign. Tactility. Smell *great*. Be clean and fresh, french manicures, amazing skin, white shirts; aesthetics you can touch. Buy him a set of jersey material sheets, a soft shirt, sheepskin slippers. Look for things with aesthetic depth. Be on the lookout for things with a sensual aspect. I think Venus Taurus in 6 would be into something like an aphrodisiac-testing experiment :).
I agree that allowing him to do these things for you is showing him love. I have a Taurus Moon and I love nothing better than feeding and mollycoddling a man :) but I love it when he does the same for me. My ex husband brought me breakfast in bed every day - that was love!
Just find out what he really likes to eat, drink, watch, listen to, use in the bathroom etc - and provide it. He'll appreciate it, believe me.
Good hygiene, good manners, consistency, attention to detail. Surprise him with simple gifts, like his favorite brand of olive oil, or farm-fresh fruits, or gourmet tea. Ask him about work. Compliment him on his cooking and home-making. Help him with his routine like with walkin the dog , doing laundry.
And don't be a miss fancy-pants :)
I was also thinking, velvety stuff to put in the water, which makes that and your skin all soft and gently perfumed. And body lotion. Also really big soft towels with plenty of pile :)
Taurus likes velvet-covered feather cushions too, and lots of pillows on the bed!
Thank you all for the wonderful suggestions although perhaps I should've mentioned Mr. 6th House Venus isn't my lover, he's my 2nd cousin! Not that I haven't had a terrible crush on him all of my life, but I'll spare him the awkwardness of his little cuz trying to seduce him. :)
The last of my immediate family died this fall and I've had some health issues and he went into big brother mode even though he's got a busy life of his own. It means a LOT to me.
Despite my not communicating our relationship well, I think Eva is spot on that I can't out Virgo him and shouldn't try. (God no - I've got Uranus in the 6th house. He tells me I need a butler. LOL)
ScorpioMoonGirl, one of the few things I have been able to do for him is give him a photo of 6 year old him cuddling baby me and he you are spot on - he was really pleased with that!
Wizron, the organizer idea is great but I happen to know he already has a system and just installed some new accounting software LOL
I like the idea of getting him some luxurious guy stuff a lot as he can't immediately repurpose it for other's benefit! I'll just have to skew more towards cashmere sweaters and shave balm than silky sheets and bath oils. :)
Haha, cool that he liked the picture!
And I agree with Elsa - the best thing about this thread is that you want to show him love. Keep it up and he's bound to notice - even if it's all just unromantic attention.

How does one express love and affection to a 6th house Venus in Taurus? He won't stop waiting on me long enough for me to do something nice for him! Invite him over for a gourmet dinner? Good luck keeping him from doing the dishes. Bring him a nice bottle of wine? He'd only pour me the first glass. ( is it real obvious from this list that I'm Cancer Sun, Moon/Taurus Rising? lol)
