As a pro dancer I have always studied movement. Since I am a character dancer I study how people of different walks of life move too. I have also studied how Sun Signs walk and most of the time they have the same traits in their movement if people are the same sun Sign.  I notice, for example that Pisces can move through a room and make themselves almost part of the furniture or almost disappear as they blend with people along the way. I notice that Scorpios often appear to glide instead of walk very often.  Leos seem to use big gestures and dress to be noticed while walking in an unusual way.

I wish I could say I flit and flutter like a Gemini should, but Chiron conjunct my Sun gave me permanent limp.  C'est la vie.

I'd like to watch myself cook because that is when I am moving about the most, multitasking but also completely relaxed. I often pace around my apartment, lost in my thoughts. I think my movements are quick but measured. I don't like to be hurried.

I do to a large extent. My mars is in the same sign, so that accentuates it.

Ha yeah. I definitely move like a Sag. I clomp around and too often trip over myself!

I've noticed that some Cancers have a rolling, sideways spilling gait. Imagine a sailor thrust on land after months at sea....or a rider back on the ground after a day spent fox hunting.

I have heard I have animal magnetism...I assume it means a certain level of athleticism, maybe?  A prowl?

When I'm in a hurry I am the clumsiest person ever.  At work, I'm always in a hurry so the gals there would be rolling on the floor about the animal magnetism remark, unless the animal was a buffalo....

Huh. I really don't know -- 

I can speak for my two boys, at least, cuz I watch them move a lot. 

The Gemini, who is almost all fire otherwise (Mars in Aries, Moon in Leo) bounces like a spring lol It is the cutest thing in the world. He is like a bubbly little stream on feet. He flits and bounces a lot. 

My Taurus, who is almost all water otherwise (Mars in Pisces, Moon in Cancer) can run and ride his bike fast, like a kid would, but when he walks and sits, he is so STILL. He can stay still for a good amount of time. Wasn't always the case -- but now, he sort of curls into a spot and stays there. He walks very evenly and sturdily where the poor Gemini (who had inner ear problems at first) would tip over every single time he rounded a corner lol 

I have Mars in Taurus conjunct my Sun and I walk like my Taurus grandmother. I saw myself on video and said "OMG I walk like Nanny!"

I'm so ridiculously clumsy. I trip going UP the stairs....

I try to glide with a little bounce in an efficient, ground traveling stroll.  My Capricorn sun likes to be efficient. That's for out in the open on level ground. When my knees hurt (I have those crappy Cappy knees) I move slowly while making myself not limp. I sometimes wonder if we Caps can be found by our limping bad knees.

When I was in my late 20s, my husband told me I had three distinctive, different walks depending on my mood.  I suppose that's my Cancer moon.  He saw, "the lost in thought mode, the ground covering travel mode, and a playful bouncy mode."

12th house Cancer sun & asc, so you'll find me in the kitchen or backroom (helping out).  When I do come out, I definitely don't move in a straight line, sideways is a good description.  I also like to move unnoticed(12th house) and I'll be talking the whole way (merc in my 1st).

Hmmm.... given my Scorp / Pisces energies , I'd say I go into a room and then disappear (probably cleaning the cracker crumbs from under the sofa.... darn Virgo energy!!)

Was thinking about this some more.  I think I express more of my packed 12th house in that I love to be up at night but hate waking others up, so I walk very very quietly.  Also, the Chiron/Gem sun limp I mentioned is slight, hidden unless you're paying attention.  Most people don't even notice it, but health professionals almost always do, and ask me what's wrong.

YES!I've been looking for a way to describe the way a Cancer I know walks.This is it!

I walk with a mixture of fast, agile Gemini Moon and a proud, straight head and relaxed shoulders Leo rising. I have been told that my walk and my posture are very good. I don't slouch.

When I get a few drinks, I'm told that I strut.

I think my movements are very intimidating .. sometimes even my dressing.. I'm an aries sun and leo ascendant... I think my eye contact is always direct... and my approach while walking is as well ... people sometimes find it aggressive thats when i try to tamp it down.. although i swear it is completely unconscious

when i dance - or try to -- i have really bad ankles and i end up tripping myself or banging into furniture -- i'm always twisting my ankle, hurting my toes or my knee.... plus i'm extremely self conscious when I try to dance in public - I think it's my 8th house stellium... As for how I move... No clue :p I focus very hard on my posture at all times, because I have had back related pain due to my poor posture. I'm pretty upright now and train regularly to strenghen and elongate the muscles that support the skeleton.

I have kind of a stomp-march that I attribute to my Leo-Rising, but I guess (according to some) that I move with a certain grace.  Though, with my huge feet, I'm not too fond of believing that latter addition.  I've read somewhere that Scorpios walk as if they have a Scorpio stinger-tail, whatever that means, and sometimes I actually visualize this with an amused smirk on my face.  :)

With my long-legs, Aries Moon ("Get There QUICKER!!), and much caffeine & sugar from the Mountain Dews I consume, I move around pretty damn quick.
