Scorpios! Strong Scorpio influences always, next to Capricorn influences.
But lately.... Pisces.
Yay for me as I like their approach to things, they get my crazy and they way I operate!!!
Capricorns for dating, but it's not a hard and fast.
But all my good, true-blue friends are Leos. All of them. I can't imagine how my leo friends, who think they're the best thing since sliced bread, can put up with Miss. Critical. I can't explain why I can put up with egos the size of Russia. I like to think that it's because somewhere inside their ego they know that if I know all their faults and still think they're the best people ever, well, it must be true. :)
Leo Suns, almost without fail.
Have only been attracted to one new man in the last five years - guess what he is! He emailed me today ;) to say he will be in London next week. But he lives in France, too bad!
The 'old' man is a Leo Sun too
lol le soleil @ "I'm retarded for Capricorn men, and I always pick them out before I know anything about them -- 'cept for bein' hot !" - made me chuckle
I have a huge lasting crush on Audrey Tautou! Leo Sun. Havent checked the rest of her chart.
Scorp/Cappy (sun and/or asc) I tend to have a soft spot for too I think :)
Scorpio, Taurus, and Virgo.
Actually... to be less specific, I've found that a lot of fire moons are attracted to me - I think when a man's moon is well supported by a female's personal planets, he'll feel very attached! And you'll HAVE to be very mushy toward me in order to put up with me :D
So I attract a lot of moons in fire signs!
debdeb "But I've found that I END UP attracting a lot of libras and virgos. They fall in my 4th and 5th houses!"
No wonder they fall in your 5th house! :)
I have Scorp pluto/saturn and Libra sun/merc in my 5th.
"I think when a man's moon is well supported by a female's personal planets, he'll feel very attached!"
I find that to be true so far too.
I find that we put physical chemistry and looks above many other things in our society, so when a man's moon makes close links with a woman's planets, he'll feel more 'attached' and connected with her. This'll certainly help when a myriad of other factors might've otherwise intervened and set the agenda for what is and is not important in relationships :).
Thanks for quoting me WindSwept! Have you found 5th house attractions to be the case, too?
I never knew the pattern until one day I read that your 'light' romantic links tend to be made with those whose planets fall in your 5th. This does kind of make sense, because these 'links' i made during college - so 5th house romance rather than 7th house long-term things were more of relevance.
Hehe its great being quoted, i agree
Its like your words are standing the test of time! hooray.
I read that too... about the transient 5th house romances & long-term 7th romances. And no, from what I am aware of, non of my past romances planets fell into my 5th House. Although for one of them, my Scorp venus/pluto conj her Asc and 12th house.
I always can spot the Virgo man, because I know I am going to ge along with him swimmingly. Not on an intimate level, that I have to leave for Scorpio Sun/Moon types.
Virgo men have a way with their banter and I completely get it.
I'm a bit of a zodiac player too, well, half of the zodiac. I have tended to date mostly guys from Leo to Pisces. Mostly it is Libras and Scorpios. My 10H is Libra....
I don't discriminate as much though for light-weight stuff, Gemini Venus likes variety!
"@luckyduck, that's surprising! Do you have a heavy saturn or capricorn influence in your chart? Perhaps, do you have a 10th house or MC ruler emphasis? It's interesting to hear that your lovers tend to occupy your top half of the chart - the 10th no less. :)"
@debdeb - I'm a Sag AC. I do have nSaturn on my DC. My 10H nMoon is conjunct Pluto in very late Virgo. My Virgo MC is about 7 degrees from my Moon. My nUranus in also in my Libra 10H. I have dated a few guys who had a Sun/Moon/AC in the lower half of my chart. But usually it's because they also have heavy placements above too. Usually it's someone with heavy Virgo-Libra-Scorpio influences.
Pisces, Aquarius, Taurus... if I feel very strongly attracted to a man, chances are he's one of these signs. Not surpringly, they rule my 4th, 5th, and 8th houses. I almost exclusively fall for these signs, it's pretty ridiculous...
Gemini moons are close seconds too, they also fall in my 8th.
Scorpio Moon, Mars, or Mercury seem to pique my interest.
Also Aquarius rising, as their 5th house of fun is ruled by Gemini. And my Sun/Moon many times are conjunct their IC, and that seems to allow me to feel 'at home' and comfortable with them.
Sun, Mars, Venus rx, and Jupiter in Gemini are also special placements to me, as we tend to like each other fairly easily, and it's a nice friendship.
And Jupiter in Taurus is also one I've been attracting more of lately. I forget that the sign changes every 12 years, and that there are more of them out there. ; )
@mina, your quote "And my Sun/Moon many times are conjunct their IC, and that seems to allow me to feel 'at home' and comfortable with them."
I've asked this on the boards (i think) before: whether or not person 2's planets on the IC of person 1 causes person 2 to feel it too. Up until now I thought that only person 1 - the one whose IC is affected - 'feels' it.
debdeb--I'm honestly not entirely sure, as I've only known two men closely that I had this placement with. One was TDO, the other was a friend I met last summer. But if I were to hazard a well educated guess regarding the two of them, I would say that they felt quickly 'at home' in my presence too. Hmm, it might be my Sun or Moon (one or the other) that conjuncted their IC, but I know both planets were comfortably inside their 4th houses.
I have two other guy friends that are lunar Cancers, and I think their Moon's conjunct my Cancer IC, or are inside my 4th house lines. But I can't 'read' their emotions as well as when it's the other way around so I couldn't tell you if they feel at home around me. I think one of them does, or I remind him of home or something. The aspect between us might go both ways, with his rising sign also being Aquarius. I remind him strongly of his sister, and he reminds me a little of my dad when he was nice. I guess we feel like family to each other. : )
P.S. My apologies for the confusing writing style tonight. The Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Pisces are almost exactly squaring my Sun, Moon, and Mercury in Gemini. I can't tell if I'm coming or going, I've just been sleepy all day.
@mina, I'm so sleepy today too! I never knew that the planets in the sky could affect you so much. (or maybe it's the placebo effect, from talking so much about the piscean energy around here this week :D).
I sort of get what you are saying - the non-IC person (person #2/the person contributing with the planets) might feel it too. However, this might be due to the fact that the planets + IC effect in your friendships have been double whammies, thereby making it difficult to tell?
LOL, I am a confusing writer today too. I *think* I get what you are trying to say though... thanks for replying.
(p.s. I ask because a few significant virgo relationships/friendships have involved the friend or guy with virgo planets on my IC - and I "felt" them being very important to me.
As they pursued me, they obviously felt something, but I am not able to discern whether or not that was because of some homey, IC effect, or because of more shallow effects (looks, wanting to get the girl for the sake of it, etc.). Anyway, I've digressed from the main point of the thread hehe).
It's nice to not be the only one that spent the day almost nodding off, debdeb. : )
And to sum it up: as the planet person to the IC person I felt, and feel it. And I would say that the two guys I mentioned first, one who was my partner (TDO) felt 'at home' and relaxed with me too.
The second two guys have Cancer Moon's, their planet to my IC, and I'm not fully sure they felt 'at home' with me, or I with them. Possibly because my airy Moon has a hard time analyzing the emotions of watery Moon's sometimes.
I think it can go both ways, regardless of whether the two people have IC planetary aspects going both ways. It just depends more on the planets energies and how they line up with the other person, or vice versa.
@egiyablu, ohh, IC activation - that makes sense :).
I've noticed that people haven't indicated their 7th house sign being that to which they're most attracted as much as I'd have thought! Beginners astrology once taught me that 7th house was the One and Only that you were attracted to... I am so confused, for this doesn't seem to be the case.
Forgive me for the grammar LOL :D.
@Debdeb - Oh I get Scorpios in my life so easy and I love them as friends and lovers. I have Scorpio desc. I can pretty much count on Scorpio moons.
I think though, for me, I focus more on the 7th house as being what others see me as within a relationship.
I, for some reason, maybe with my Mars being rule by Cancer - but I am like ridiculously in tune with my Cancer IC. It's like a magnet. It's probably what I'm most attracted to.
As for Virgos, for some reason they just appeal to me. Juno exactly conjunct my South Node? Dunno. I just admire the Virgos in my life like hell. Virgo Moons too.
