I May Be The Bluntest Person On This Planet.

i think most people need their jaw dropped to the floor every now and then, particularly when the shite is about to get real.. either that or a clean smack upside the head
Thank you, sdlawyer.
The last accident the girl had, she hit a telephone pole and left the scene. No idea why she's not dead.
My husband says it is never the guy who trips the wire (booby trap) that gets killed.
This is a very nice person, you guys. My friend, I mean. No one wants to have a kid that goes out and gets drunk and kills themselves or others but it happens, doesn't it?
And if you're the mother...well hopefully you'll never have to find out.
And so in her darkest hour she'll hopefully remember your words and know who to call. What a kind thing to do for her.
I think in this Mom's position I might call the police, in the hope I'd never then have to call Elsa to tell her she was right about my daughter...
I have a cousin who got in a very bad accident while drunk driving. He was incredibly lucky to come out alive, though he was seriously injured. He was also incredibly lucky that he didn't hurt anyone.
His mother, my mom's sister, was the kind of parent who looked the other way while her kids partied. I know she worried, but she seemed quite spineless in the sense of telling her kids wrong from right.
In my opinion, if my life was a train wreck, you're not a real friend if you'd rather be a polite bystander than a plain-spoken truth-teller.
As another Virgo with Mercury conjunct Mars, I'm in complete agreement with everyone else.
I'm blunt, too. My mother tells me not to be so mean. Blunt is not mean. The truth is what it is.
My girlfriend called the police on her ex-husband when he picked up their daughter drunk. They stopped him down the street and charged him with DUI and child endangering.
I don't know why she let her daughter go in the first place, but she freaked out as soon as they pulled out of the driveway, I guess.
I think inciteful people are blunt. You see the truth and you say it. How can you not? It's all the people that dance around the truth that irritate me. As if not saying something negates its existence.
When I have the extra money to spend on myself, I am definitely getting a full reading from you because of your very bluntness.
The drunk driving is abominable, not only does she put herself in danger she puts other innocent people's lives in danger too. As her mother she absolutely needs to be shaken up to deal with this somehow! This is nothing anybody should be pussyfooting around.
On a different note, I have never minded blunt - unless it's coming from a mean place intended to hurt. Which I don't think is the case here at all!
Blunt? I call it "Cut to the Chase.." Instead of dancing la le la around a situation you just screech in fast and furious and lay in out.. Sure saves time instead of the riddle me this riddle me that!
It's why you're so talented! A 10 minute reading with Elsa P is a good value!
Now what will she do different to change that map?
Honesty isn't a dirty word.
We need more blunt people like you, Elsa. It's so sorely lacking in today's society.
I'm blunt as well, and I've been on the receiving end of people flinging shit at me because they chose to stick their heads up their asses after I was honest with 'em. Then after the same shit happened...all I could do was shrug.

Sometimes you have to brace yourself. Contrary to what some believe or contrary to wishful thinking, it is not possible to stop all bad things from happening, especially if a person is hell bent.
If you want an example of this, see photo. Fun time for her father - NOT.
It's only happened twice, but I've cut people off because I refused to be a witness to the impending train wreck of their lives. It's true that it takes a strong friend to stick around even then. I don't have the stomach for it, and as a result only have very *very* few friends. I have my family and a handful of people. That's it. Other than that my support group are people I pay (therapist, astrologer), people online, and my relationship with God.
I think she should call the police, maybe it won't help her daughter but it might save the life of some innocent person who crossed her path while she was driving drunk.
Almost every fence of every house in my street has had a car smack into it.All the drivers were drunk. I cringe when I think of all the people that could have been on the other side of the fence and who could have died.

"It sounds like your husband is going to kill himself and your daughter is fixing to be in a catastrophic accident," I told one of my friends.
I really said that and I said this on purpose because the shit is that bad and if something like this happens, she is going to have to deal with it and I want her to know she can call me and I won't be shrieking (forcing her to take care of me) because you know everyone else will.
She totally understands this btw and for people with their jaws on the floor, if you knew of a young woman who was an alcoholic who liked to drive drunk...and if that young woman have been in 7 traffic accidents in 2 years, and she was not letting up at all, where do YOU think she may be headed?
I won't even go into the rest of the situation. Obviously it's tremendously bad. But my friend is going to have to endure, because she's like me and it's what we do.
