Could you send them this way so I can pass them on to Ox and his family? His mother passed away yesterday morning. I've watched this come in for quite some time. And, it is, of course, a devastating blow to all of them as she has been the hub that their lives have revolved around since their birth.
The quiet surrounding it all right now is rather deafening. I don't expect it to remain that way.
Oh Josi - this will change a lot of things for you. I wonder if this is why he's been volatile lately, feeling this coming...

Thank you guys I think most of the i's are dotted and t's are crossed as far as what has to be done when someone passes away. You know, I think it's odd all of the red tape there is surrounding a death. It's almost like the little details demand that you detach from what is happening long enough to take care of them. Then, when you are right in the middle of signing a paper or telling one more person the news you see what you are writing on or hear what you are saying and it all comes back. I've watched this happen with each of the siblings. It's odd.
Everyone seems to be handling things as well as can be expected. And, the good thoughts were definitely felt and passed on. I'm just a support person here, you know, feeding people while I can. It doesn't matter how many times I've been a part of a death (and there have been many) it never ceases to amaze me the different ways in which people deal with it. Ox is just happy that she won't have to spend another summer in a wheelchair. She really liked the outdoors and he knew it was torturous to her to be confined. I have to say, that I agree with him. I'm very proud of the way he is guiding his son through this process. I'm sure that is an odd thing to say, but, I am.

I don't thnk it's an odd thing to say... & I think it speaks very highly of him, that he is thinking for her.. about the wheelchair & everything.
There is always a part of us that stands outside looking in... I think you are lucky to see Ox handling it all this way & come out proud of him =)
