"I want to dip my father into a vat of boiling oil."

Or some fucking bullshit like that.  It was on stepson's FB.

I haven't seen the post - most of the family is blocked - but Mr. Cap's cousin made a fake account, and stepson accepted the friend request.

The fuck is wrong with this kid?  Is he a spoiled brat, bipolar, still on drugs, or a combination of the three?

I'm so disgusted that I don't want to look at him, never mind talk to him.  Kid tells these punk "friends" of his that I abused him - NOT fucking true at ALL.

This is a Gemini gone bad, folks.  My MIL said to me that he has a good and a very dark side.  Good twin/evil twin.  Sick.

    How old is he?

My son, 14, is a totally different person on FB. Drives. Me. Nuts. I find it incredibly irritating that they are so easy to be vicious to "friends" about family.

These social networks can certainly bring out those types of statements to friends and to  sound hip to their friends young people often insult their parents.  I have had some experience with this and have learned to ignore it because sooner or later they seem to grow out of it. It is  a form of rebellion that is often best left ignored, in my opinion.

He's 20.  I also kinda sorta get the sounding hip on FB - I say that because I'm old, lol.

But boiling your dad in oil?  Isn't that a bit extreme, even for an FB audience?

In my opinion, yes, but I am of a clear and rational mind. If my Aries was angered, I've been known to say extreme things in the heat of the moment...

...Just not about my family. The most extreme I've gotten where they are concerned is wanting / hoping one to take a flying leap off a rolling doughnut.

Well, according to him, his family is "the enemy", and all the jerks he bothers with - "friends" that are like the ones described in Ryno's post - are the BEST.

This is just how my brother acted when he was an addict, which is why I've long suspected stepson is hooked on Oxy or Lord only know what else.
