Are you ok with that explanation? Say, you are pondering some philosophy or theory and someone says, "well, it's just beyond human comprehension." Are you ok or satisfied with that?

Depends on what we're talking about, really.  If it's something I know we have the capability to understand and the other person's just using that (or similar) phrase to cut off the conversation for some reason, then there's absolutely no way I'm satisfied with it.

If it's something that's truly ineffable, then I'm okay with it.  But I still want to bat it around sometimes, just for mental exercise.  :)

I'm totally okay with that. 12th House ruled by Pluto and Neptune is in that house. I love a good mystery.

If you're not satisfied with that, you're going to be dissatisfied because most of what is out there falls into this category!

I just can't help but think, "but what if it isn't and we just aren't trying hard enough to learn and understand." But, I can be obsessive that way. If I weren't able to poke things, I wouldn't be satisfied then either.

I have to be honest, that reply would definitely make me ponder the theory much much more,my mind has a strong desire to evolve and one way I try to do that is by deeply contemplating various theories.

I'm ok with it, but similarly strive to understand. Just because we may never understand something doesn't mean we shouldn't try. We could always be wrong.

Even if it is true, I'm still gonna look under every rock for an answer.

Depends on my mood.  Sometimes I like crawling into the rabbit hole and skimming the whirlpool (as SaD says), sometimes enough is enough.

I like that line in the movie Antz.  The main character ant goes to a therapist and he is lying on the couch.

Ant:  "Sometimes I just feel so...so...insignificant!"

Therapist:  "Ah!  But that's just it - you ARE insignificant!"

Yeah, most things are waaaaaaaaaaay too big for humans to understand. What with our ridiculous egos and all.

Yes I'm okay with it.  I even accept that alot of things that we think are "known" are likely to be debunked in the future or found to be not true.  The course of history shows lessons in thinking that we know, when in fact we don't.  Remember "the earth is flat" ? Yea, um, not so much!

Yes, the eternal quest for truth will continue but I don't think we will ever "know" the truth because there isn't one to be found.

Oh. Hell. No. Now I'll have to know what someone tells me I'm not supposed to know.

all my pisces planets feel this way most of the time, and mostly I'm trying to come up with the next meal and bill payment, so yes, most of the time this doesn't register at all.

Also, even if it were possible to know, I'd probably scramble or confuse the meaning, so I just leave it alone. :)
