So here I am 27 on the 27th....I always thought that this would be my year but It feels so quiet so far.                

   Any tips on how to get where you want in life and once you get there to actually accept it? Any tips would be the best birthday gift I could ask for. I feel like something needs to click this year...

As a child I dreamed I'd become a mother by 27

When I turned 27 I realized my childhood project didn't correspond to reality :-)

I had to drop some expectation, but eventually something else came my way.

Now I'm 29 and my life is getting simplier, wich works for me :-)

Happy birthday, Lady!  The only advice I can ever offer is do something everyday that makes you happy.  It doesn't have to be big -- if the feel of your sheets when you lie down at night makes you happy, then by damn feel it to the fullest!  It won't actually get you anywhere (usually), but it makes the path a hell of a lot more enjoyable.

Packed Sag sixth house and I'm thinking cruise ship director, cardinal chart ruler /ascendent--hotel management, home decor, etc. Whatever you choose, with Sun in the sixth house, you have to shine in the job! You know I wrote this and realized you might not be asking for astro info...just how did you get where you wanted to go. For me it was understanding the North Node that  made things click. Yours is prominent in Cancer in the first house.
