December Jupiter crosses my MC.

I can look back and see where, in the past, this did indeed bring career changes/opportunities for me. What I can't see..because I have been miserably stuck in this area and had a lot of work to do in the 4th house my whole life..is how will this affect my IC.

What I am trying to achieve right now is a complete rebuild in all area's. Wiped out the past few years. So YES..lol...I need a career jumpstart and a new 'home/community'..something in that nature.

I'm so glad you asked this question. In March of 2008 I took a watercolor workshop.
The instructor, a big, , talkative man, really changed my life. I have been painting like crazy since then.

I honestly didn't care for him, he was arrogant, had groupies, but the things he told us about being a painter and painting too were so profound. I have been using his technique suggestions and have been able to fight my personal demons because of the insight he gave me.

I can't imagine being afraid of a Jupiter transit. Good luck.

Jupiter crossed my midheaven around March of last year.. Like you, I was also stuck in a miserable job and I seriously thought that I was going through career suicide as I've been with that company for three years! I've also been searching for jobs like crazy for a year and have been going through interviews with no result!

Anyway, knowing this transit, I decided: enough is enough! I'm not going to put up with this job! I had a lot of side jobs/contract work that time (I seem to be getting them left, right and centre!) just enough for me to quit my job and go on my own for an entire month....

... and then, two interviews happened. One from a prestigious Canadian magazine company and another from a small marketing firm with very high end clients. I got hired by the latter. I started earning the most money I can ever earn in my life.

So I'd say take advantage of the Jupiter midheaven. In my case, I leaped and something came for me afterwards! Granted, this doesn't guarantee that you will find the ultimate career, but opportunities may pop up for you! 

I have not had this yet -- I will before I'm 50...

That aside, I would be surprised if you didn't have a nice big good career shift, but I would check aspects to your midheaven and aspects to jupiter at that time. That should tell you a lot.

Is your 10th house empty or full? What about the 4th? Is your jupiter well aspected natally? Is it mainly challenged or not challenged?

When Jupiter crossed my midheaven, it was a really good time for me. Everything was going very well. Career was doing well, mind you I was working too much. We traveled and had a lot of very good times. I was having a Saturn transit conjunct Sun too, so even though there were some stresses, I was getting some rewards. This was all precursor to Pluto crossing my midheaven, which has also been positive, but Pluto told me to change a bit and slow down a bit and make some time for some other areas of my life. Pluto is back checking out my MC to see if I got the message. So far so good.

I can absolutely relate to your man experience. I currently have a man in my life..have for 5 years since jupiter transited my 5th. I expect him to be more prominent in my life soon..and up until now, he is much of what you describe with your instructor. :)

There is nothing I would enjoy more soon than some carefree travel fun.

Hit my Saturn return 11 years ago, then Tr. Saturn plowed through my first 4 personal houses while pluto was loitering about in my 6th. With almost all planets in the these houses, I have been, in effect, modern-day cloistered. Yes, I have come such a long way in inner-reworking, and that really is priceless to me, yet the Gemini portions of me just screams... UGH. My Gem ASC/Moon has been suffocating under the restriction. It has been 6 years since my toes have been in the sand..not even positive I will still love it as I once did. :)

When Jup conj. MC I will be having saturn conj 5th:Libra Uranus/Jupiter/Mercury stellium, yet this one I am looking forward to, as I can see the benefits in it assisting me in anchoring my artisitic projects in a manner that will also be profitable for me.

4th house Virgo: POF-Sun-SN-Pluto 

10th house Pisces: NN

Nataly  my Jupiter is 5th/Libra, part of a stellium with Uranus and Mercury. Also sext.Venus, quintile Mars and opp. Chiron, no squares. So I believe that makes it favorable(??).

My Solar return and Venus return occur in a week, and both are favorable with MC and Jupiter. Solar has Cap rising with Jupiter the rising planet, though in Aquarius.

In my VR, Jup is part of a 3rd/Aquarian stellium of NN-Moon-Jup-Neptune-Chiron and my VR has my natal MC brought to the return IC..I am interpreting that as a reversal in circumstance/energy focus possibly?

Thanks kachina! Saturn conjunct your stellium sounds like it will be a time of very positive change for you. One of the things I like so much about predictive astrology is that you can see what is coming and plan and prepare. Still, life can be full of surprises.    

Jupiter conjunct my Scorpio Midheaven in mid-late 2005. I had just begun my Saturn Return.

Uranus is conjunct my Midheaven natally so I had that transit as well as others (Pluto conjunct ASC on 12th House side).

I went on a very spontaneously decided on trip to India with my Dad, who is 50+ years older than me. We spent a week in Hong Kong, a month in India and 10 days in Nepal. During that time I wrote 200+ pages of what is now a manuscript in need of a kick in the pants on my laptop.

I felt like I was building and breaking down things at the same time. 

Kasmiri now you've got me thinking about all those hot men in Hong Kong. Damn.

I am about to post something on this later today... when this occurred, I got a great opportunity just land in my lap... and I said no. With Jupiter, what you wish for is not always what is best for you. Pluto was squaring my moon at the time & theer was heaps of heavy emotional stuff happening, & it would have been far easier for me to accept the job with the money etc & run, but I stayed & dealt with it.

I will have Jupiter conj my MC in mid January and I am really looking forward to it. I am looking for a change and am ready to leap when an opportunity presents itself.

~Rand~  I think we have the same ascendant.  I really enjoy reading how you manage these aspects.  Pluto's been crossing my midheaven and I've been trying to cope as well.  You've been managing a bit better than I have, but I feel like I'm almost there.  Just need a little more sunshine.

It looks like this is an older thread.  I don't know how I ended up here, but I'd love to know how you've each fared since then...  Kachina, I hope Jupiter has been kinder to you and opened some other windows.

grandpa died, lost my job, stopped school for a semester so i could work temp paying the bills (uhm, jupiter was opposing a pluto on the IC...) realized i couldn't work in a bank and stay sane, realized i couldn't sell even things i loved and keep my self respect, and went back to school.  got my stuff together and finally finished my degree a couple years later.

Michele- Isn't Pluto the life of the party? Not! That is Jupiter's turf.

eh... being a student.  i do have a natal 9th house jupiter... and i work in education...
