In response to Elsa's fantastic videos about this transit, where will this go down in your natal chart?

For me, part of it will occur smack dab on top of my Sun/Mars in Pisces in the 11th. I have no idea how to prepare for this, not sure if you really can anyhow. As crazy as the last month and a half has been, it seems like the calm before the storm.

It will be in my 8th house. Sounds kind of interesting.

It will be conjunct my ascendant. I'm excited about this with a mix of apprehension.

My employment situation is supposed to get MUCH better (despite the fact that I'm probably going to be let go this week or next) and the prospects of a love interest seem extremely possible next weekend....but I'm going to pretend I didn't hear ANY of it, lest I jinx myself.  :D

It's going to be on top of my Sun-Jupiter-DSC conjunction. Things are a bit calmer right now but for the past few months they have been INSANE. I made it a point to get through a breakup before this transit came along. I figured it wouldn't last through it.

1st house. 15 degrees Pisces rising here.

PS for those who don't know the dates/degrees, I swiped the exact conjunction dates from the article above (thanks login99). I double checked against the astro.com ephemeris, but if there is a discrepancy, please let me know.

Sept 18, 2010 Pisces 28 degrees

Jan 4, 2011 Pisces 27 degrees

Its exactly conjunct my descendant and Vertex. Also sextile Sun/merc/SN, and trine NN. I've a feeling this will be the next step in the process started by the Solar Eclipse last summer on my NN.

I've felt the approach of this conjunction for several years.  It also coincides with Pluto hitting my ascendant.  For me the conjunction is conjunct my Mars in the third house.  

I have known for several years that it is the time when I have to move on and I have been preparing myself.  I'm quitting my job of 10 years end of May and traveling the world with my wife.

Up until now, I have been in what Nietzsche describes as the "heavily loaded camel" phase of life.  I went thru school, got a job, took on big responsibilities and made money.  Now is the time to "kill the dragon thou shalt" and "become again the child".  I am going back into the sun. 

Thank goodness for this board... I'm going to be on here quite a bit as these transits approach. Everyone else I know doesn't understand it the way I do. They're like... why are you acting so prophetic? I just don't say anything anymore!

It's in my 4th House. June 8th is my Cancer best friend's due date...I'm helping her w/her mum , and her mother (a mother figure to me)

Whew, if it only goes 0 Aries, I catch a break.  It barely hits into my 11H, but several degrees farther in would make my T square in 2-5-8 into a cardinal grand cross.

Not like THAT is news or anything.  Still ... I feel like I just dodged a bullet somehow.

And it's in my 10th house, which should be, to use a very Gemini word, interesting.

It's in my 10th house, directly opposite my moon in my 4th at Libra 0'.I've no idea what that means..

Until now, I haven’t paid much attention to transits or progressed charts- at the moment I’m still trying to get a grip on the basics of natal aspects and interpretations.

However, this Jupiter-Uranus conj. got my attention as I’ve got it transiting conjunct my 12th house Jupiter/Asc. at 29° and Sun at 24° Pisces. This is aspected by opposing natal Pluto in 7th house.  In addition, I've got the transiting Moon sitting on top of my natal Aries 1st house moon at 22°. What the???

I wish I knew what to make of this. Am I one of those going to a new land? I don't know much about transits, but it seemed Elsa was describing configurations like mine when she closed her latest video post on Jupiter/Uranus conj. ??

 Well, this Jupiter-Uranus conjunction will be adding more adrenaline to my actual transits... that is:

  The conjunction will be happening in my 9th house, squaring my Asc/moon and Desc/Nep, opposing my mars (ruler of 10th) and in a separating conjunction with my Venus.

  The first time will happen on 8th June. I have checked other transits: The Moon will be passing through my 10th house and Sun, The Sun will be approaching my Asc and Moon, Venus conjunct my north node....plus the Saturn/Pluto square wich conjunct my Mars and Neptune/Desc respectively.

 Next time  (last days of September) a stellium of plantes touches my 4th and 5th houses.

 Last time (January 2011) with venus in the 5th, a stellium in the 7th and Saturn will be conjunct Saturn!!!

 I just guess this is a turning point in my life!!! I ´ll keep you informed!!

Ermm......I think it will be square my mars in gemini in the 4th house, also squaring my uranus/midheaven conjuction in Sagittarius in the 10th and 11th house. I have no houses or planets in pisces...I'm a Taurus with Jupiter rising in Aquarius, Taurus Mercury and Moon.

I'm an artist. I hope to increase in popularity this year. Trying to get away from a REALLY bad relationship.

I just read the article linked to above... where it says that there was a Jupiter-Uranus conjunction in 1997. And it suddenly occurred to me:  That's when I was hit by a speeding car (I was walking), bounced off the hood and into the middle of the street, and I was not harmed. (Well, except for a seemingly permanent dent in my thigh that sometimes still hurts. And, it was pretty traumatic at the time, incredibly so... but still, I was alive!) That's Jupiter-uranus, right?

Does anyone know what sign that 1997 conjunction was in? 

Sea- There was a conjunction on February 18-19th 1997 in Aquarius. Now you've got me thinking, 'What was I doing then. Maybe a lightbulb will go on... or need to be changed.

Hmm, interesting. Do you happen to know the degree?  That straddles my 2nd and 3rd houses - and my moon's in Aquarius.

And, now that I think about it again, I'm struck by the fact that I had actually worked very hard the year before in a way that prepared me for that unexpected accident (guy was running a red light, and a bus was already stopped at the crosswalk for the red light, so I couldn't see the car coming as I crossed the street - that bus driver must have had an amazing view of the event, the car hit me just as I was emerging from in front of his bus).

The year before I had (uncharacteristically!) taken a jujitsu martial arts course, where all we did for months was learn how to fall. I had bruises a foot long on my thighs - and it got so bad I had to quit. But not before I really, really, learned how to fall and tumble, and I know that this is what I did unconsciously as I was flung through the air and hit the pavement. In fact, I knew at the time that that training was preparation for something, even as I knew that I didn't know what it was preparing me for. 

Hi Sea- It was at 6 degrees Aquarius. I am interested in your true life story and glad that you are OK. It must have been quite traumatic! Good that you learned to tumble. When I was 6 through 7, my Dad took me for Judo lessons. Much of what i learned was about tumbling. This was very helpful when I was twenty and slid off a roof and somersaulted on the ground 16 feet below with no injuries other than a stiff back.

You have got me thinking further about Jupiter conjunct Uranus. I have been looking in the rear view mirror to see if I can find any clues about the coming conjunction. So far I have found that they learned how to clone sheep in 1997. Also the Nasdaq stock index was fairly low then, it started to rise a few months later and never really looked back until it peaked in March of 2000. The technology stock bubble. The Biotech sector was also very popular at the time.  

6 degrees Aquarius - right ON my black moon, or... looks like a scythe - don't know what it is. Hmmmm.... The rear-view sure is interesting! Wonder what was up with that??

I can vividly recall the nights during the end of winter/beginning of that spring in 1997. They were black and very wet, gleaming. There was a sense of freshness, and also of foreboding. For several months, I was dogged by a feeling of abject, impending doom. I associated this with the neighborhood and house of the guy I was dating, and actually wondered if it meant I should quit seeing him - I was scared. The car accident was within half a block of his house, I was on my way there. After that event - well, immediately with that event - the foreboding sense disappeared. Gone. That was the event I had dreaded. 

And yes, hurray for tumbling lessons!! Good for you, Orlando (and your Dad)! Glad you're all right, too. People don't make enough of the usefulness of learning how to fall. I'm going to have to go in for a refresher course. We should just have classes devoted to learning how to fall. Especially as we age. I'd so love to see every old person take classes on how to leap up into the air and fall hard, over and over again, on wrestling mats. 

Here's what Lynn Koiner says from that article above: "When these two planets move into an alignment of 36 degrees, usually during the preceding year, we get a glimpse as to the nature of this breakthrough. In 1968, during the 36 degree approach, we began sending astronauts around the Moon, preceding the actual lunar landing. This vanguard alignment will occur in early 2009."

I can't think of what that would be for the Jupiter-Uranus breakthrough of 2010. But supposedly the clues are to be found in what was happening in early 2009....

The conjunction falls in my fifth house. I hope I can channel this into a creative pursuit and stay out of trouble.

 I'm worried because Jupiter & Uranus will be square my Uranus at 1 degree in the eighth house.  I'm not sure what this signifies but it doesn't sound good.

*spit-take*  September's will be exactly on my MC, January's exactly on my S. Node.  I hope this means something suddenly and shocking good.  *lol*

My MC-IC/Nodal axes are loosely conjunct/opposed my Mars-Venus-Pluto deelybobber which are being so lovingly throttled by the Saturn-Pluto square.  Yay!  I really have no clue what any of this portends, though.  I'm just living my life like usual, trying to find the best flow to go with and living as responsibly as I know how.  Hoping that's enough, but then again I always do.

The Jupiter /Uranus conjunction of 1997 was in my 5th house, conjunct my Vertex, trining my Sun, squaring my Uranus/Venus, inconjunct my Ascendant.  I was desperately in love with someone who considered me a good friend (yes, the spectacularly good looking Acquarian from another threat). I think there were other guys trying to approach me, but I just wouldn't even see anyone else.

Candela, That's interesting. I have also have this years conjunction in 5th house trining my Sun and Mars but it's squaring my neptune. Funny thing is all of sudden, I've started to meet a lot of Aquarians. 

Falling in my 8th house so I agree with Charles, my sex life needs a serious makeover! So, I will do as Elsa says, when the opportunity arises I will leap with Jupiterian enthusiasm!

ok, on closer examination, just another one of those times that calls for preparation.  I will get ready to write down or record all of those thoughts, dreams, ideas and images, and sit tight and resist the urges to DO anything (including overindulging :-).  As for the rest of the world, I got a kick out of the talk of the "rogue" doctor who may go ahead and clone a human during this transit.  Uranus-square right on his decision maker, mebbe.
