Being tropical born and raised, I can't live without THESE in the summer:

All my shoes have to be comfortable because I have flat feet. I have yet to find a pair of comfy shoes that suit my tastes, to be honest. Aside from flip flops, boots are an absolute MUST in my wardrobe to deal with Canadian winters. I also have a tendency to go for sleek, clean lines in my clothing so a classic shaped boot will hit the spot for me.

Sun and Asc in Aries (explains my very "grab-and-go" style), Moon in Cancer, Venus in Taurus (explains my need for comfort), Saturn in Virgo (clothes have to be FUNCTIONAL yet beautiful), Capricorn MC (I tend towards power-dressing: a lot of black and a lot of clean lines).
Flops! :)
(I wish I could be barefoot, but I live in a city and there's too much broken glass, dog poo, etc.)
But if I absolutely was forced to wear shoes, acceptable shoes that is, it would be the hot 3 inch shiny leather ones, strappy preferably, and a color too (I have a nude pair that I wear on special occasions).
Hahha! Alicia you are truly a sandals girl! :)
I walk weird on strappy sandals for some reason but that's what I wear on special occasions myself! However, if I can incorporate my tall boots into special occasions (which I have been known to do - cocktail dress with tall boots), I would do it!
Oh my God Jilly, what the hell is that??? I am a high-heels girl, but those are scary, scary shoes. I have always loved sexy shoes, but I am old now and comfort has to come first, which sucks, but I still try to combine the two as much as possible. Sorry, I don't know what the astrology of shoes is so I don't know what information to give!
Waah Jilly these are very capy, goat feet in fact, but not for climbing.... wah incredible !
My favorite shoes are these kind

Preference given to shoes that click on the ground. Love boots and the ones you posted lunalie. Mukluks in the winter. NEVER sneakers (unless at gym), Crocs, or anything that reminds me of Birkenstocks. Aquarius ASC, Cap sun, Sag moon.
OMG Jilly! Hahha... Yeah McQueen tends to come up with outrageous shoes like that... holy geez...
A friend just bought me these.
Yes she did :-) They fit like a glove. I'm not going anywhere fast though. But yes, that's the kind of shoe I can't live without. Or, I could, but it just wouldn't be the same.

Those McQueen shoes? HOw do you walk in them?
Sag sun, Libra moon: Such a tomboy but sometimes I wear "cute" shoes too.
Cute:
Casual:
Silver Birkenstock flip flops.
sorry ambidee, your image didn't load! Ignore my last comment :P
I have Saturn in Pisces. I have shoe/feet issues. :p I *might* be better at picking out good shoes for me as I'm getting older but it is still tricky. It was the hardest part of getting ready for my wedding. My Virgo daughter insisted that I not wear red doc marten's or red converse.
Sun in Gemini, Moon in Sag, Leo Rising
I'm a boot girl - would wear them in the summer too if I didn't look absolutely ridiculous - these are my faves -
And i wish I could afford these (sigh) I love red shoes....

Lunalie- the answer is about the same. You try not to :-) The heels are a bit over the top (even for me), but I like girly shoes.
During the hot peak of summer its nothing but flip flops,
the rest of the time, its these:
Just bought me a pair of these:
Shades of Elsa's Leaning Tower of Pisa blue suede pumps. *laughs*
They're a classic shape (Libra Venus), but slyly unusual (Aquarius moon) and attention-getting (Leo sun), plus a bit of power/sex thrown in (Venus conjunct Mars and Pluto).
By the way dose are some Funkerific shoes ya gots there SaDiablo! yowzers, I do love unusual things
notatirem i used to have those...
here is my everyday casual wear. handmade, leather, german designed. comfy as hell but need to be resoled.
I also wear these alot (not into cute rubber boots at all)

I wear other stuff. More handmade leather stuff..and my work shoes, which are these:

Not in this colour. You can't get gazelles in Canada anymore which sucks because they were only $50 or so and were very sturdy and had a great rubber sole.
Oddly enough, ebay never fails me when it comes to shoes. I found these boots for $15. They are currently on my feet and they feel fine. All of my favorite shoes have come from ebay.

They'll be great in Ireland this winter. :)
SaD those shoes are absolutely CUTE and HOT all at once! it'd be a nice accent to a very Audrey Hepburn type look!
Lupa: From what I know of you, I can't help but say, "Those boots are SOOO Lupa!"
Do you wear them underneath bootcuts or do you tuck the pants in? For some reason I can see you let the whole boot show :)
Well I just test drove them today. I wouldn't tuck pants legs into them, but I will probably wear them with tights and funky skirts. Today I had on some black wide leg dressy yoga type pants, so they didn't really show. I was very tall though. :)
I need a boot jack. Girls with muscle pain/weakness issues should not wear shoes that require calisthenics to remove. Poor planning! From now on it's either buy a boot jack or make sure someone will be home when I want to take the dang things off. *laugh*
I'm not a heels girl. With three young kids and running around all over the dang place, no way. This is my usual winter footwear:

I wear these when I go out:
I think the tights would be such a wonderful idea! It would be great when you let them show too! Oh wearing them with funky skirts!!! Yes! :)
Boot jacks, lol! This reminds me of the time my family and I first moved to Canada. My Mom had super tall winter boots and it didn't have a zipper. I remember her asking us to take those things off! It's hilarious! I inherited those boots but I don't really wear them. I like keeping them with me because it's a remind of how my Mom sacrificed so much to get us a better life in Canada :)
I grew up in the Southwest and my dad was a cowboy so there was always a boot jack in the house. The one we had looked exactly like this one.

OK here I am, late to the subject.
I feel the need to subdivide into regular zoom zoom shoes, like this
And dancing shoes, which look like this:
Or these:

Sneakers are so ugly, but I don't want to be an old lady with knee problems or someone who turns their ankle running.
So many shoes are just...did they think someone would actually have to wear this and walk in this?
If I owned them, these would be my essential pair of shoes.

libra/scorpio cusp, leo rising
My taurus sun constantly fights with my leo moon and gemini venus on shoes! Love my knee highs with skirts and cropped trousers (love the attention) but I can't tolerate discomfort soooo I do that wear-trainers-to-just-outside-the-office-then-put-nice-shoes-on thing.
Love heels (love feeling tall) but 90% of my shoes are chunky heeled rather than stiletto (more practical than tottering stilettoes).
And I have a knack for picking out the noisiest shoes of anyone I know :)
The boots are nice, krustallos, but I'd rather have those legs!
Yeah Krust you're legs are groegeous bitch lol! Anyway, being British the usual place to buy shoes is either a shoe shop (like Barrats) or most commonly a fashion shop like Topshop, Bank, River Island although they aren't practical. Clarks is the best shoe shop. Since I am broke right now here is my wish list:

I'm in such a fashion kick today so I might as well extend my previous posting with another one. So what are your absolute ESSENTIAL pairs of shoes? It doesn't necessarily have to be what you own... It just has to be shoes you like that fits your tastes and your lifestyle. Again, what are your sun/moon/asc placements? Any other astrology placements that support this?
