In my mom's old car I could parallel park like buttah.  In my car, I can't parallel park for shit.  *lol*  For backing up and seeing anything on the quarterpanels my car blows.  Of course, I've never been able to use my side mirrors, so. . .   I need to get off my duff and take it to the practice course and just park for, like, a half an hour.

I'll chalk it up to Merc-Saturn trine Neptune.  The restrictions!  The FOG!  *snickers*

I'm also going to call some Leo somewhere in there. "Did you take a picture of it?? Can I see? Can I see the video??"

I didn't get my license till I was 25 because I had a terrible phobia of driving. I was especially afraid of parallel parking. So I found a old traffic cone and a big log, and practiced in my mom's station wagon for hours. 

So, one can overcome phobias, and even become a pinball wizard at them. I parallel park like a mf'er.

neva i have a terrible phobia, too...but i think i'm almost ready to get my learners'. i'm 32:)

i will do just about anything to avoid parallel parking, including walking several extra blocks. i practiced enough to get my license and that was it.

Moving from state to state, I ended up having to take the whole driver's test over again at 40. Aced the written but had to take the driving portion twice. Thing is I'm generally a very good, safe driver!! That Mars in Scorp on the ASC is extremely competent at physical tasks.

I am great at parallel parking!  I learned to do it in a 73 Buick, and I could park that baby anywhere there was enough room.

Consequently?  I can parallel park ANYTHING.  And if it fits in one parking spot?  Even better!  *grin*
